I'm not sure what you mean dead pedal? You referring to gas pedal being controlled by wire instead of mechanical linkage. :) Paul

Are you referring to Energy or Hybrid? :) Paul -

I wonder if that is because it is a plugin with big HVB? I'm not sure if we gain much with our smaller HVB. :) Paul -
Don't forget to make Grill Covers, it's good for at least 2mpg all year long and more so during the winter. Center cover can be left on all year long and lower one can be removed for long up hill grades. :) Paul

I had to have my rear seat removed to install new seat belt mechanism. They had to do it twice because they didn't feed one of the seat belt mechanism's through the seat and you can't force it through. :) Paul

Have FUN, That Works. LOL :) Paul

Thought my warranty was up at 75K, but checked paper work and confirmed with FORD it's good to 100K. YA! :happy feet: I was thinking ahead that I would be driving a lot of miles. :) Paul

I think the transmission would be the weakest link of all the parts. You could probably get away with if you were going at slow speeds and short distance. :) Paul -

That seems a little much to me, maybe a 1,000lbs or so, but I can tell you that you don't need to worry about overheating it. CMAX has plenty of cooling power. :) Paul -
C-Max using Focus Sport Suspension
ptjones replied to FreeMiles's topic in Brakes, Chassis, Park Assist & Suspension
In previous Post's It has been said the CMAX Hybrid and Energi are Identical for suspension components. Don't know about the Focus. :) Paul -
I'm sure the warranty will transfer, but you can go to your local FORD Dealer and verify that and extend it if you wish. Sounds like a good price and it has the same equipment as mine, it's great. :) Paul

I have spent alot of miles in the Desert Southwest with both center and lower Grill Covers installed and only needed to remove lower cover on long up hill grades. Center Grill Cover never needs to be removed from my testing. BTW CMAX runs cooler with A/C on except in very long uphill grades. :) Paul
-
Another way to do it is to install a center Grill Cover, then install License Plate and Badges on it and improve MPG's to boot. :) Paul

By my calculations you could have gone 100 miles more Wnuk. BTW only take a gas can the day you need it, it will smell up your CMAX. LOL :) Paul

Need Help with Low Fuel Warning Light

Yes it shows up on NAV screen. :) Paul -
I can remove and reattach my Saris bike rack in just a few minutes. I use magnetic adhesive strips from Michaels to cover any places where feet or straps touch the car. It is also a cheaper solution and can be easily installed. :) Paul

I have two years on my Saris Triple Bike Rack. It solved the problem with the hatch not closing good enough. :) Paul

A ball park # is divide hrs. into miles driven. I use my Garmin GPS to keep average moving speed when going for a record run and take a pic of it too. :) Paul
-
Make sure it is one that will work with Hybrid. :) Paul
-
It has to do with the HVB SOC if it is low EV won't last long, but if it is high you can go longer distance. :shift: Paul

I was trying to give you some confidence that you don't have to worry about running out of gas, no tress. Apparently I didn't do a very good job. You did great. Wait a minute, you did have a can of gas in your car didn't you? ;) Paul

I seriously doubt it, it could mean that they would have to replace about 60K batteries. That would workout to around $6,000,000 and they would have to put up with the bad press on yet another recall. There will probably be a battery out by the time I replace my battery. :) Paul

Great job! Did you top off when you filled up this time? If you did it looks like you could have gone another 40 miles. Paul
