You didn't say how far you drive home, for short distances less than 10 miles the SOC of the HVB. On my 7 miles trip home SOC of HVB makes up to 10 mpg difference and the WT can make up to another 5 mpg. :) Paul

Mileage and Build date for eCVT that have failed
ptjones replied to Automate's topic in eCVT / Transmission
Interesting that I didn't notice any real change in FE(actually it looked like I was getting better) when my Trans was bad. :headscratch: And it didn't improve when I got the new Trans. :) Paul -
What Goodyear's do you have, Fuel Max? Just to say it again I got 64k mi. out of two sets of OE Michelin's which they went through bad snow and rain storms! :) All the tire tests say they are the best for FE. Paul

I'm surprised that the tires don't rub. Michelin 225-50/17 Dia. 25.9"/ Width 8.2", weight 22 lbs. I looked at the Michelin 225-65/17, Dia. 27.3" and with the wheels turned it looked like it would rub on wheel wells and fender. Contenntial 235-55/17 Dia. 27.2"/ Width 7.7", weight 24 lbs / ODO and speedometer could be off by 5%. Check with GPS to find out and keep us posted on how they workout. :) Paul

Well it's time to winterize your CMAX to improve MPG's(4-6MPG's) and get the heater to work quicker. GO TO First POST of this thread to get all the details. :) Paul

Brake Rottors strange wear pattern
ptjones replied to David Toth's topic in Brakes, Chassis, Park Assist & Suspension
I think unless you do alot of City driving like a Cab, It seems to me they should last 300k-400k miles. IMO At 139k mi. not much wear. :) Paul -
I looked through OM and didn't see anything on Fuel injector Cleaner/Octane Booster. My FE improves after using it, I have 138K mi.and My BlackStone Labs Oil analyst looks great! :yahoo: My FE keeps on getting better too. :) Paul

I guess a poor attempt at being funny. That's seems reasonable to me, I wouldn't go out of my way to do it, but if I was going downhill I'd do it. :) You could also do it using Neutral for stopping at stop lights/signs during your regular driving, it shouldn't take much and it doesn't need to be perfect. Good Luck. :) Paul -

Yes, just waist of electrons/gas. :) Paul -
Looks Like you made it. :yahoo: Congratulations! :happy feet: Next time 50psi and Premium E10 93octane gas "Cheaper" than E0 and almost as good. You can always add NOS Octane Booster from Walmart to boost Octane and clean injectors. :) You could make it to 700 miles. Grill Covers? Paul

Ditto too! :) Paul

Fuelly only has 29 Sonata Hybrids listed and it's about 41mpg's. Not a very big sample. :) Paul
-
Does that mean that there isn't much acceleration in EV Mode? :) Paul

It will be interesting to see your long term FE turns out to be. :) Paul

The Prius the ICE runs most of the time, CMAX wants to run EV when it can. :) Paul
-
I'm guessing you drive less than 500 miles a month. :) Paul

It will be interesting to see what kind of MPG's she get. :) Does it have an aggressive EV or more like Prius? Paul
-
Good for you. And do you have 137k miles on your Odometer? :shift: :) Paul
-
And Gas is CHEAP! YA! :yahoo: It is nice to go for a weekend all over the place and spend $40 on gas. :shift: :) Paul

As far as the CMAX goes NRG's are flat and Hybrids are down. Also total Plugin sales for all brands are down from last year. Paul

This is what happens when you don't advertise your product. Paul

This was quick, getting a new record tank miles speeds up the time it takes to get New Life Time record of 48.4 MPG. :yahoo: Paul -
That is my thought too. :) Paul
