  1. Welcome to the forum.  My only regret with my (aka the wife's) C-max is I never seem to get to drive it.  It's a solid and satisfying-to-drive car.

I know the feeling, the C-Max is my Wife's car as well!! She keeps telling me that I need to get my own C-Max!!

  2. To each his own, we prefer leather seats. I actually switched out the cloth seats in my Truck with leather, no regrets!! The C-Max is my Wife's car and she loves it! She is averaging 44 mpg which is excellent for her driving style! I am confident this car is capable of 50 mpg which was my target goal when we decided to buy a hybrid. No Prius for us!!!!!

  3. Congrats!! My Wife has had her C-Max for a little over 6 months now and she absolutely loves it! Her average MPG so far is at 44, but down here we don't have very much cold weather to deal with.

  4. Welcome to the Forum! You would think living in Florida that it would have been easy to find one with a Sunroof! Not!!! We had to go about 200 miles North to find ours! ( Actually our local Ford dealer found it ) My Wife would have prefered an opening Sunroof but other than that she got

all the options that she wanted ( 303A package )  and she absolutely loves her C-Max!!! :love_shower:

  5. I can claim ownership to this club but not for the CMax. It would be for my Dodge Truck!  I am away on business for

long periods of time and drove the Truck for less than 500 miles last year! My biggest concern would be the gas aging. I would

add some fresh gas to it every now and then even if you don't really need it.

  6. We may get into the Upper 80's today! Forecast High calls for 85. My Wife is wanting to turn the AC back on in the house. We watch the Tampa Bay Weather Forecasts but you can generally add at least 5 degrees to that. Also, we live about 70 miles farther south from where you are and that probably makes a difference as well.

Getting back on topic as for Gas Mileage it really depends on who is doing the driving! My Wife has yet to get 600 miles out of a tank! If I was the primary driver of this car I am confident I would be able to get at least 600 miles out of every tank of gas!!

  7. 85?  Come on, they haven't been THAT high (I think we got to 82 but I'm pretty sure it didn't get to 85).

Then again, there ARE microclimes (we often joke that we should have weather reports for each street in our development).

Haven't had the air on since October and have averaged well into the high 50's (and low 60's) for each and every tank (yep, made it into the 600 club twice now).

It was down here!! My Wife wanted to turn the AC back on but we got by without it!
