No, we are pretty much smack dab in the center of the State.. approximately 200 miles south of the Ga line and about 200 miles north of Miami. She did her Prius test drive at Toyota of Winter Haven,
which is actually closer to Haines City and right off of Hwy 27. I have driven up and down that highway many times!

Your Welcome! My Wife took a Prius out for a test drive on Hwy 27 and was afraid of being run over!!! That was the end of that!! I like to remind her that I was the one that pointed her in the right direction!

Congrats, It was a radical change for us as well! My Wife had a 2006 SRT Charger which was killing us on gas and maintenance. She tripled her mileage with the C-Max without even trying!!!

We live in the "Hill Country" of Florida! My Wife is actually blaming her poor mileage on the terrain! BTW, she still gets around 43 mpg so I can't really complain too much.
My biggest problem is that she won't use the Sunshade that I paid $40 dollars for!!!

My Brother in Law ( Prius Driver ) hates this commercial! lol

No problems yet, but we've only had it less than 2 months. ( 2200 miles )

My Wife is tired of hearing about my 100% brake scores! She is proof that you can get at least 43 mpg out of the C-Max without even trying!

I must say that I feel your pain when it comes to the Nav System. I was used to just entering the address info for whatever destination I needed to find and then saving it so that I didn't have to mess with it while driving. This
system seems to be way more complex than it needs to be. Just my two cents!!

There seems to be some confusion between the Intro-Tech Roll Up and the Intro-Tech Fold Up. ( Ultimate ) I like the way
the Ultimate fits and who knows, maybe my Wife would have been ok with that one?? At this point, I just want to get her
back in the habit of using a sunshade like she used to in her old car!

I have never been a "Prius Person" and I pretty much had to be dragged in kicking and screaming to go "Hybrid Hunting"! I was sick of the high gas prices and having to pay for Premium Gas for my Wife's high performance car. I would love to go
all electric and not have to buy gas at all but there isn't an electric vehicle out there yet that would meet our needs at an affordable price! Maybe Tesla will have the answer when their Model 3 comes out in 2017??

Blue Candy was my favorite color, but my wife said it was too blue. Her first choice was the Grey Metallic which is very nice but we already have a grey Truck. So we both kind of settled on Ice Storm.

One thing I knew for sure when my Wife started wanting a hybrid was that it wasn't going to be a Prius!!! I wanted to wait and go all electric, maybe when
Tesla comes out with something affordable!! She kept pressing and guess who won! lol She keeps asking me why I joined a C-Max Club since this is
her Car and NOT mine!!! lol
-
Congrats!! Glad to see that these cars are capable of hitting 50 mpg!!!

Still trying to get my Wife to at least try out the Pro Trim Sunblocker that I bought on Ebay. She tried it once, got frustrated and then gave up on it! From what I've seen on this thread it appears that the "ultimate" Intro-tech has the
best fit. The only draw back is that it doesn't store away easily like the Walmart shades.

My Wife is very hard on brakes! I am hoping this Car will help her improve her braking by constantly reminding her
with the Brake score!! lol She gets tired of hearing about my 100 % scores.

So what was the gas mileage carrying a load like that? lol
-
Hey now, Florida is NOT all one big pancake!! lol Where I live there are plenty of hills! My Wife effectively tripled her mileage with the C-Max and she hasn't changed her driving habits at all. She gets about
43 mpg on average. I manage to get 46 mpg on average using some of the so called tricks. I refer to it as "common sense" driving.
-
I have never had one myself but I know that sometimes they are used to cover up unsightly Dash Cracks! ( That's why I am so anal about using sunshades! lol )
-
The only thing I have done is add a chrome license plate holder on the tailgate. I think it goes well with the existing badging and most importantly my Wife thinks it looks good on there!
-
This has probably been posted already but I just thought I would put it out there again for all the newbies like myself! Kind of makes me
wish we would have got ours in Blue Candy!!
-
I have been forewarned!! There will be NO debadging on the C-max! I don't think it is worth getting a divorce! lol
-
My Wife is spoiled rotten! lol For her Charger she had one that fit the windsheild perfectly without any external support and stored away between the passenger seat and console like you show in your pic! The
KEY point is .. finding something that she will use!!! I think you have come up with the best solution I have seen so far! We will probably go with the Silver one as well.
Why I'm glad they got rid of the lifetime MPG...

She needs to learn how to use the hills to her advantage. We live close to the highest point in Florida, so it's all pretty much downhill going away from our house.
