It's so disappointing to hear of these battery issues! Have you, Kicker48219, or khern, taken copies of the info from this forum to your dealerships? You are not alone in this issue.....many others have had the same problems. Some resolved, some not. Please read thru the thread to see if there is a common denominator...maybe it will help your dealership to isolate your problem. Any way to find if your batteries were part of the same batch of bad ones? Please keep us posted of any changes/resolution to your problems. It may just help someone else.

Awww, General, I didn't know that Baby Gen was a Galpin baby too! So you and Jus are............brothers from different mothers? fellow adoptive fathers?..........haven't ever met each other?............I dunno. But cool, nonetheless. I don't know anyone who got a C-MAX from my dealership.

Checking in from Ann Arbor.....I saw 3 yesterday, within 1 block. A Ruby Red was ahead of me, a Blue Candy coming toward me on Jackson Rd., and an Ice Storm was turning left off of Wagner onto Jackson! If I'd been in Jelly, that would have been some kind of record......4 at one time, at the same intersection! The Ruby red looked like it had some kind of roof rack installed. They turned off into a hair salon and I didn't want to stalk :camera:

Well, this is cottonwood heaven around here! It looks like snow piling up in the gutters and next to curbs. Hopefully, while Jelly is being disassembled, they will suck out all this tree gunk!!! I'll check tho, when I get him back. Thanks for the info, guys!!!

Thanks Jus. We'll see where I am before the road trip after the 4th. On my regular route, I have no doubt I could do it on this tank, but if we add in freeway miles.......who knows. But if not now, it'll be sometime this summer, I'm sure! :camera:

I was pleasantly surprised to find that it responds well to coasting.....several downhills on my route.

Nice little 2013 red Focus SE that I'll be driving for the next 2 days while Jelly gets a new APIM. Surgery required. Take apart, find part, get part#, order part, wait for part to arrive, install part, put all parts back together, hopefully with no parts left over, call Adair for pick-up. So I reset the running mpgs immediately, of course. It had 37.1 on it when I picked it up. So far I'm getting 42.2..........YAY ME!!! :sing_rain:

Hi General, 13A01 is Ford-speak for what we on the Forum have been calling the 3.5.1 upgrade. And it comes with an A4 SD card so the navigation will work with the upgrade. My installation went fine, but some are reporting problems. Check with your dealership to see how many they have done so far and what, if any, problems they've experienced.

I've never bought premium gas in my lifetime of cars...............until the last 2 tanks. I buy from the Kroger station in my town, because I have *fuel points* from groceries bought there. That Kroger buys from Shell, I believe, because they share the points thing. All my 19 previous tanks with my C-MAX have been with regular gas. The tank before this one finished with 558 miles, 12.37 gallons of Premium used. The one before that finished with 503.9miles/11.38 gal of regular gas. The current tank is Premium. It remains to be seen how it finishes off. But this one will likely have some more highway miles than usual. Right now, though, my running average is 47.6, with about 250 miles on the tank, and 80 highway miles yesterday @ 69 mph on cruise.

i have driven it to the dealership in that state 3 times. 4 different technicians have seen it, fiddled with the dials and sync paddle and were stymied. they thought it was the phone causing it til this week
