I'm running Goodyear Assurance FuelMax. They're alright, I preferred the Firestones on my Focus. I forgot to ask the dealership for them when I traded in the car; they only had 10,000 miles on them :(

Well, I didn't quite make it to 600 like I was hoping. If only I had driven around the neighborhood a few more times! My thoughts are with those affected by now Tropical Storm Harvey. We're starting to feel the effects of the storm here, in the form of higher gas prices. $2.50 a gallon. Still really cheap compared to what I grow what remembering, but still higher than recently. Trip Miles: 595.2 EV Miles: 370.4 EV Mode: 62.2 % MPG Indicated: 52.4 Gallons Indicated: 11.34 Gallons Used: 11.700 Offset: 3% Used two-click method for fill-up Actual MPG: 50.88 Best tank ever!

It's only surface rust, but it happens on both front doors. Right at the bottom. It wasn't as bad on my Focus, so I'm wondering if they're using a different type of metal.

So something that I've noticed with my car, and newer cars in general. The bottom of the door, right where the weld is already has rust! Not even 70,000 miles! Does anyone else have anything like that?

Thanks for your tips! I don't have a GPS, but if I see a cheap one I might pick it up. Found the filler tube when I first found the car. Personally not a fan of the capless system. Plus I also found the portable air compressor. That could definitely come in handy. Had to go jumpstart my partner's work van. He killed the battery when he left his hazard lights on :( . Was a really horrifying experience as I've never done it before.

Currently at 470 miles, filled up at the beginning of the month. Still have 200 miles to empty! Wow! And this is running on E15! Average MPG display is going between 51.8 - 52.2 MPG

Filled up for pretty cheap earlier! 20 cents off per gallon means that I didn't spend all too much to get to full! Car indicated 700 miles to empty once full! Miles: 542.3 EV Miles: 335.6 EV Mode: 61.9% Indicated MPG: 51.1 Gallons Indicated: 10.59 Actual Gallons: 10.860 MPG: 49.93

I'm at 66,500 miles. I purchased it 700 miles ago, 2013. Currently averaging around 50 MPG. I reset the lifetime stats when I purchased the car so that I had a more accurate number as to my total usage.

No, it isn't covered under your warranty since you're outside the warranty period. You might be able to contact Ford and discuss it with them to get some goodwill and see if they're willing to work with you though! No cracks from the TSB on either of my seats. Lots of wear on the seat bolster, stretch & wear marks. Might get better after I actually detail the car. -
Unfortunately, these are a lot bigger than those on the Focus so I'm stuck with them until they're worn out :p I'm up in Northeast Ohio

My car has it and it pops up with traffic whenever I use navigation. It's only been right once all the time that I've used it. So I don't see much loss in it.

Hey Paul, if you're ever up this way you're more than welcome! Honestly... I don't drive much on the highway. Maybe 100 miles a tank, so it wouldn't do much good for me! And I'm running the dealership standard Goodyear Assurance Comforttred tires. I'm mad that I forgot to ask for my old tires off my Focus when I traded it in. I have another Focus that my partner drives that needs new tires. Those new ones on my car only had 10,000 miles on them :(

I don't actually have a GPS to use :( and I'm not sure what PSI I'm running at the moment. Tire gauge broke, but I'll be getting them to at least 40 after I get a new gauge.

I've watched your videos Paul. They're very informative and detailed! I just got my car almost three weeks ago and I've watched rewatched them so that I can maximize what I'm getting out of my new car. I got 500 miles on my tank and used 11.100 gallons. Only got 45.34 MPG though :(

This is my trip meter, one week after purchasing my vehicle. I'm very happy with the mileage so far. Much better than my Focus! -
It's a 2013 Hybrid SEL, 302A in Magnetic with the Medium Stone leather interior. It has just under 66,000 miles and is in very good shape! Ever since they got lower and lower to the ground :( it's sad because I loved my Focus, that was my first real car that I bought by myself and it served me well. I'm sad to see it go, but it's time for a new adventure!

Hello everyone! So, with my disability making it harder and harder to get into my 2011 Focus, my partner and I decided that it was time to retire it and buy a "new" car! We chose the C-Max after focusing on fuel economy and comfort. The seats are freaking amazing and so far I've averaged just over 50 MPG driving around town! Looking forward to learning what I can do to improve my mileage even more!
