  1. Wow those are a pretty cool idea. I only keep junk in my glove box like papers so I wouldn't need one but I could see it coming in very handy.
  2. Diddo. I haven't had a chance to test it must, but the little bit I have makes me believe the ECO select turns it on if ECO Cruz is off when ECO select is on. Seems also ECO Cruz can be turned on by its self independently.
  3. I can take it over and host it if no one else wants to. Heck, i can do all the Ford Forums.
  4. It's most likely a small buildup from the PCV system mixed with moisture. You should only be concerned if it happens continuously on all WOT events in my opinion.
  5. Apparently they will replace the Hood, bumper, front left quarter panel and plastic trim in wheel well, FL tire, headlight and driver door
  6. I can't wait to use mine. At this rate I won't have my C-Max repaired until thr first week in January.
  7. Same issues here. Been slow all week and just got worse but seems fine now.
  8. Was it a hard acceleration? Could be some build up of some kind that got "blown out" so to speak. This I would consider common for hybrids that are normally driven easy
  9. Fords take a snapshot of all the data and store it on the computer when the code is triggered. There is no reason they can't figure out what triggered the code. Except the fact that they don't know what they are doing or how to use the Ford IDS
  10. In my 16 there is a seperate option for ECO cruise in the left menu. However mine being on does not show the ECO icon when cruise control is on, however it does feel like it's being utilized (Ive only used it once) I think the ECO mode forces ECO cruise on in addition. With ECO mode on I still didn't see ECO cruise icon. I think I remember it being removed at some point.
  11. I was thinking of posting the same question my self. The only thing I noticed was higher regen when you let off the throttle and laggy throttle response, but I need to try again to see if I'm just confused. I've gotten 45MPG this week I've owned with eco off.
  12. So far I've been steady 44.2-44.5 in my daily mixed. Took it to my work party last night and got 45 overall. That was at 65 most of the way.
  13. I've changed the oil in my car since I've started driving (brothers a mechanic) but my Cmax has the VIP package where all the oil changes are free along with tire rotations and state inspection. And by free I mean you pay for it when you buy the car. But as long as I own it I'll be getting it.
  14. For 2017 they made the electric motors more efficient by making them lighter I believe is what I read.
  15. That worked perfectly, thanks for the tip. Those are nice looking values. I thought black stone gave you an oil life % on the results too?
  16. I was able to zoom in some on my phone. I can't make out most of it. Probably lost some quality from original. 13k seems like a long time for an oil change to me, but I'd can't wait to see the details of the report. Was there any oil loss at all? My dad did 10k intervals on his FEH and blew his motor because he never checked his oil.
  17. I can't remember what my SOC was today when I got home but I'll remember to turn off climate control when I turn it on tomorrow and see how far I can get. I have a gentle down slope when I first pull out so I should be able to make it
  18. I took one of these on a test drive when I was looking for my car. It was Huge, but more bulky then usable space I think. Power was great, a tad more then the C-Max I think. I had heard the power train is the same as the volt but only works in range extending mode since it can't plugin. I liked how it had a gauge on it that shows you how much regen you are using and what the max is. I didn't like the gauge it had for power before engine on, seemed last minute and wasn't integrated into the same gauge as the regen, just showed power output. The Ford power train is MUCH smoother when engine turns on, off was more noticeable then Ford. I think the Chevy engine is louder at lower loads. At WOT max power is instantly given, no wait for the engine to speed up, but it does speed up and shows max power being output. It has low which has a shift selector for L1and L2 which are just different regen amounts. In L you can give it some throttle and it starts to lower regen so you could have easy 1 foot driving. It did not have hill decent control, even on the fully loaded model I tested. Back seat was much more comfortable and a bit more roomy for legs, but hips/car seats was same. Think the flat seat in the C-Max is better for the car seats. The sun roof was about the size of the panaramic roof, but half of it opened which I liked better.
  19. I was doing about 55 and probably slowed to 35 in a split second. After the hit I left off and pulled over. Was only doing 20. It sure did slow nicely and I don't think my brake coach went down any
  20. Thanks for the welcome. The Deer around here seem to be more active and wild in the late afternoon. I don't blame them, I'm not a morning person either. Sadly the brakes didn't help me much as I think the deer was charging for me. Now it's not doing anything at all.
  21. I just got my C-Max and did my first run to the dump for our recycling. My return trip net 5 Miles of EV out of the 7 total. I had a similar feeling of "wow that's a lot" To be fair there is a steep .5 mile decent. I've haven't noticed the 35 MPH Kickin because I usually kick the throttle right before I reach the end of my driveway to turn the ICE on as I like to make sure it doesn't make any funny noises before I stress it. Habit I developed when I first started driving and had only 150k-200k mile cars that drank oil.
  22. Originally I was searching for the NRG but once I got my hands on one the Hybrid won me over. Found a Metallic 302A day before thanksgiving and I'm loving it. And I already hit a deer. Crushed the from left quarter panel and busted the light. Highbeems work but blinker and low beams are out. I've had my eye on the C-Max since its debut. My dad got one earlier this year unexpectedly (never checked his oil on his FEH and blew engine at 160k) and it reminded me of how much I wanted one.
