I have a 2014 SEL and mine was low too around 65k miles. Filled it up and kept an eye on it....seems to be OK now at 107k miles. No idea why it was getting low.

Lacienega replied to andeeca's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
My 2014 has sync with the latest update (SYNC2 - V3.10) and the maps are still working? -
I found some oil spots under my 2014 cmax with 105 k miles. It's on passenger side in the front...any known leaking issues. Funny...just did the last car payment and now this.

We got the Firestone Firehawk AS and are pretty happy with it. Didn't notice any difference in fuel economy yet.

Got the recall letter today and checked mine...everything Ok and case for my car closed. Glad I don't have to spend my time at the dealer.

Manual Liftgate won't unlock - 2014 cmax
Lacienega replied to Lacienega's topic in Forum Suggestions and Help
I believe I finally found the problem. After it randomly didn't open ... I had the door trim off for some month to get access from the inside just in case the liftgate would not open again. So, one day when it was dead again, I went inside the car through the rear door and moved around all the cables on the liftgate that I could see while using the remote key fob and pushing the trunk release...and voila! The liftgate opened. It seems like the connector had some connection trouble. I sprayed some W40 inside and had no more problems since then. I just hope it will be OK now because I put the trim back on. -

So can you recommend these downloads? I was thinking of getting the 2014 manual for $25. How big is the download file? -
How Many Miles did You get out of Your Michelin Energy Saver Tires
Lacienega replied to ptjones's topic in Wheels & Tires
I got 100k. I knew I needed new tires but didn't know some of the steel belt was showing already on the inside threads ?. No wonder these Michelin tires are so expensive...they're sure worth the money. -

The zip file I got for the 3.10 is named: EA5T-14D544-BA , and it's 562 MB in size (unzipped) -

There were some technical service bulletins for this problem, not sure it applies to your car though. https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Technical-Service-Bulletin/2013/Ford/C-Max-Hybrid/Powertrain-Control-Module

Got the Castrol GTX Magnatec 0W-20 Full Synthetic 5 qt from walmart for only $20 ? Shouldn't a blended oil be cheaper than full syn? Not more expensive?

Hoemstead, your sticker says 38 PSI? My 2014 cmax says 40 PSI, and most of the time I brought it to the dealer, they lower it to 35.

So I changed my plugs last night with the updated motorcraft sp 530 plugs, and guess what?? My car already had the exact same plugs in it. So they should have updated the 2014 owners manual. I have to agree with ptjones...the old plugs looked like they still had a lot of life left in them and the gap was looking good as well. I just thought after 101 500 ml it would be a good time to change them. Good thing they last that long, because it's a hassle to get to them. (air-filter assembly has to get off)

Where did you buy them?

I see so much about counterfeit parts being sold online...I bought my motorcraft plugs at o reilys auto parts store. How do I know that I didn't get any counterfeits here??

2014 cmax 100k miles. Still original tires but they are in need to be replaced soon. Mpg = 42.

MFT 3.10 vs 3.06 - should I update?
Lacienega replied to DaveofDurham's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I did this update last week via USB stick. Installed without problems. You have to leave the car turned on while updating. My gas engine just turned on for a few seconds during the update, I think it took like 20 minutes or so. The update will store an xml file on your USB stick that you're supposed to send to Ford so that they 'll know you've got it. I didn't see much difference yet, except one thing....before the update, I was not able to enter my password for my home wireless network completely, after the update it worked like a charm.
