  1. Is the owners manual the only place you found fuse info? I'm sure there are several fusible links. I googled "fusible link" 1.1M hits and "C-Max fusible link" 0 hits??? wab
  2. Sorry I took so long to get back. PM sent. wab

  4. Driver seat all the way down 24" measured at the front edge with a level. Driver seat all the way up 26" measured at the front edge with a level. Both measurements taken in the middle of the forward back movement. With the tilt telescoping steering wheel and the seat the all the way up (26") probably not too usable for anyone over 5'11". The passenger seat is not height adjustable, maybe when/if a Titanium C-Max is offered. Passenger seat middle of the forward back movement 24.5". My wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis. A few yrs ago I convinced her she needed to try a small SUV/Crossover. Our BMW X3 was just about right, little or No entry OR exit problems. Traded the X3 for a MKX it to was just about right, a little higher than the X3. Traded the MKX for the C-Max, she says it's easier than the MKX to get IN and OUT of. Their Murano may be a little higher than the C-Max, like my wife they may find the slightly lower C-Max easier to enter and exit. When you get them to take a test drive MAKE SURE it's in a SEL. wab
  5. With gas pushing $4 (N TX) deals are probably gone for a while. We'll be seeing that little sticker that says. Interior protection = $500 Exterior protection = $500 Window tint = $500 Pin strip = $500 $2000 dealer installed options added to MSRP wab
  6. We're in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Untill a couple of weeks ago dealers couldn't keep but a few (0 to 6) Energi 0 to 1. When we picked ours up, 2/9 I counted 6 but there were more. We have 5 dealerships within 15 miles of our zip code. Our dealership is in Arlington (20 miles away) inventory shows he has 10 as of 2/20. wab
  7. Here's a link to Ford OBDII trouble codes. http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ford/ wab
  8. A yr and a half ago I checked with a body shop after our 5yr old grandson closed the garage door with the liftgate open. He said he could mix me some but it would be expensive. wab
  9. This is already a fairly busy forum. But should be getting MUCH more active in the next few weeks. Ford is cranking them out, lots are full, sales should be dramatically UP (gas @ +/-$4) on the next report. Usually see 1 every few days. Spotted 2 yesterday on a :30 drive. wab
  10. If you have a PC, not a MAC you should have a program called "Paint." find your picture right mouse click on the picture. use "Open with" to pick "Paint" click "Resize" click "Pixels" change the horizontal value to "640" click "ok" click the drop down box click "save as" give the new picture a new name! Should be ready to attach good luck and looking foward to the pictures wab
  11. Anybody know how to make "Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control" default to dual zone? I've read the manual... adjusting the passenger temperature knob turns dual ON. Until the next time we start the car. Touching climate (bottom right) then touch Dual works until the next time we start the car. Is this our first MFT issue or is this normal? Thanks wab
  12. Titanium probably on its way, next yr. " HIDs" "Adaptive Cruise Control" power passenger seat memory seats memory mirrors upgraded wheels (Chrome) Lincoln version of C-Max tow package
  13. WELL HOW ABOUT THAT :yahoo: I hadn't even noticed it was missing. That has been the #1 thing :rant2: (GRIP) :rant2: I've had for yrs. EVER TIME I'm working on a motorcycle or anything else in the garage I set that POS alarm off! Thank you so much :worship: , I'm on my way to the garage right now to enjoy a little peace and quiet while rebuilding some carburetors. wab
  14. I wonder if we could get eco-cruise for our 2012 motor home  . The cruise works extra hard holding the set speed. When that V10 drops down a couple of gears and goes WOT.. ouch on the MPG. It even does it on TX. hills. wab
  15. You need to take some careful measurements. The wheel well is VERY full, a friend with a civic tried but couldn't do it, tire would rub the strut. wab
  16. I think some cars just don't like certain people, this is my first car that doesn't like me. Our foot operated liftgate doesn't work for me, worked one time, thought it might be the key fob. Switched with my wife, she can still get it to open every time. Her fob doesn't work for me either??? :hysterical: wab
  17. I'm going to ask my Forest River forum about the fuse issue. LOTS of very knowledgeable people over there. Maybe there are some Fusion owners and they will have solved the problem. You might ask this question on your RV forum. wab
  18. Thanks for the link. I wonder why "search" didn't (still doesn't) find hid or HID? wab
  19. Question Anybody know where the fuel pump is located? Comment All the cars we've owned for the past few yrs have the pump in the tank. The miles to 0 was set to keep a gallon or more in the tank to cool the pump. Warning By taking the tank to empty you may damage your fuel pump. Which could result in big $'s to replace. OR worse could result in a prolonged lean condition which could destroy  your motor. Comming from a 350 miles per tank MKX we're REALLY looking forward to 450 to 500 + :yahoo: miles per tank. wab
  20. I'm just starting the information gathering process. I try to do all modifications myself, worked fine for our F250/5th wheel. A couple of questions, more in the next few months I'm sure. 1. Any word from Ford (or anyone) about which fuse or fuses to pull? 2. What did you do about brakes? Thanks and any other info will be greatly appreciated. wab
  21. I can't find any discussion about HID's or LED's. I'm going to start easy with the license plate then move to HID's. Looks pretty easy to get the headlight out. I have a 2 yr old unused 35W, H11, 5000K uncapped set I'll be trying... When I get time. I'm retired so have very little free time. wab
  22. Thanks I've been lurking fow a while, learned a lot have a lot more to learn. Questions soon. wab
  23. Mud flaps were the last thing on our negotiating list. Salesman said "My cost but I wont install them" but let me check with my boss. He came back and said " I think I've been in there to many times, he said NO MUD FLAPS!" I laughed and said in that case I guess we have a deal. wab
  24. Just got our SEL Sat. Only driven about 70 miles nothing exciting to report. ;) I'm going to wait till 1K + miles before joining fuelly. wab
