  1. the driving dynamics, plus the isolation from road noise is night and day. i had a 2011 Prius until it was totaled by a DD.
  2. congrats - post some pics! i got mine last week too.
  3. Now I know it's not just me, even my previous company car a 2013 300 had a tighter turn. I do notice going into tight parking spaces, it wasn't as smooth as I hoped and hard to believe it's less than 36 feet ;) "Although the C-Max's steering feels normal and not artificially electric as in some hybrids, the car feels like it has an exceptionally wide turning radius. We find ourselves doing multipoint turns just to get into the Starbucks drive-thru. When we look up the actual turning circle reported by Ford, we're genuinely surprised to see it's just 35.8 feet, a typical number for a car this size."
  4. For people with actual snowfall in their area ;) From what I read, the low rolling resistance tires aren't the best in traction for wet / snow conditions iirc? It's been raining here for the past 2 days and the traction isn't very good, I have the OEM Michelins Energy's obviously.
  5. ;) but seriously, i assumed you tried turning your car on and off again? seeing the dealer is always my last resort, they seem to make things worse sometimes :dogwalk:
  6. so it seems like there's no good solution in LEDs for us currently?
  7. i do know on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland it has DRL's also, but the only way to turn them off is to pull out the two relays inside the engine compartment for the left and right sides.
  8. really? i'm not some clueless driver wearing white socks with Jesus sandals and i eat meat too - :hysterical: it is DRL's and it operates from the low-beams and i noticed it was a $45 charge too :superhero:
  9. would a software update help? have you checked out syncmyride.com
  10. yes it is on mine - i'm here in Ohio, even on my sticker it said DRL installed or something like that.
  11. i am impressed how quickly they get warm, compared to my other company cars which was a 2013 300, plus my 2012 jeep was slow.
  12. of course i am sure i have them, you silly canucks! ;) :hysterical: eta: i use to be from canada also
  13. I didn't see it in the settings or manual - I assume this is where the dealer will plug in his computer into my OBD to turn it off?
  14. those hang down too low and too visable, i have my somewhat hidden between the gap on the mirror and dot matrix pattern. i have that super cup suction holding it. and escort mounts are always terrible quality.
  15. thanks - i know on ebay and amazon they have the resistors with them, on other car forums i think people even had problems with it because they're cheap and over heated iirc?
  16. Anyone attempt at it so far? Does the car give a lightbulb warning like the bulb is out because of the low voltage nature of LEDs?
  17. i knew what it was when i first saw it, even before this thread ;) i don't even use it.
  18. So I decided to zoom in on the map and the roads all disappear or vice versa zooming out - it's annoying, I guess I should just leave it in auto @ 2.5mile view. I have the 3.5.1 since I just picked it up this Monday, it was factory ordered and not on the dealers lot.
  19. I have an Escort 9500 ix with Live using bluetooth on my iphone, currently it's plugged in but ordering the hardwired version too.
