Great info. So I can tell my boss I can't come into work early.....or at all in the 3 weeks of winter we get here in South Texas...because I get crappy gas mileage? Anybody think that will fly? Yeah.....I thought not. Sigh.......

My car is on order but I've read a bunch of things that I might want to do (if I survive the waiting). Has someone started a thread for best modifications to make to your CMax? That way I can stop taking copious notes every time I come across one of these great ideas.

I joined this forum to be prepared for the inevitable issues that crop up on every car, with the added benefit of getting real solutions and real opinions from real drivers. I have been in other forums for the other cars I have owned or considered owning and there are difficulties with every model. For me its a matter of what things can I live with and what things will make me bang my head on the wall. A previous vehicle had issues with the window regulators failing - you'd come back out to your locked car and the window glass had dropped into the door panel. Kind of defeated the purpose of locking the door. I couldn't live with that issue.

Well RacheInLa, since you spent a week there, I'm guessing you know how to pronounce Gruene. Glad you didn't drown! Vacation? Isn't that where you take a week off from your regular work in order to do other work? Like painting the house or putting up a new fence?

And fotomoto, I always find it amusing when we get a new person on the local news channel who tries (and fails) to pronounce Leakey.

And now for the big question......can any non-Texans actually pronounce Boerne?

Hello. I just ordered my CMax from the dealer in Boerne, TX. Never ordered a car before. Never owned a hybrid before. Come to think of it, never posted in this forum before so it's a trifecta of newness! Looking forward to getting my car and thumbing my nose at the gas station! Is it here yet? Is it here yet?
