fotomoto
"I'm being Flashed as we speak" Was it Anthony Weiner? ;) Noah Harbinger, salsaguy, JAZ and 2 others
plus 3 golfer
I also thought we had a "news worthy" event. Certainly a misleading title with the use of "I'm" instead of "My C-Max". We'll so much for my wasted 30 seconds reading / responding. ;) As least one gets a bump so more don't miss this "exciting" thread. :)
MtnMarty
Well, no dirty pictures foto and maybe a bit more excitement Golfer...the flash didn't take. I drove home, put it up to 70 on the interstate and let the gas off...no EV until 62, just like before. So I called and they're going to check their laptops and make sure they have the right software and call me back. Maybe reflash (isn't that what Weiner did?) later today. slampro
spyburn
You'd think they could come up with better terminology. Every time I think about being flashed at my dealer I wanna stick forks in my eyes.

Noah Harbinger
You'd think they could come up with better terminology. Every time I think about being flashed at my dealer I wanna stick forks in my eyes. Once upon a time you used to literally shine UV light on solid-state memory to zero it out before updating it. The term Flash has stuck ever since, and been re-purposed for any solid-state writable memory.
MtnMarty
Well, whatever...I'm going down later this morning to get flashed again...Hopefully they've got the right files in their laptops now.
