No auto-window-rollup?

As with all CMAXes, my window buttons are dual stage. I press all the way down and the window goes down automatically. I press half-way down and I have manual control. But when I roll the windows up, the second stage does not seem to function. I cannot get the windows to roll up automatically. I can feel the second "click" on the button, so the buttons are dual stage for both down and up, but it seems the second stage has been disabled. Any ideas?

You need to program them. Roll the window down, then hold the switch in the full up position.

When the window reaches the top, continue to hold the switch for 3 to 5 seconds after it's closed.

This will set the limiter control and activate the auto up function. Do this for all windows that aren't

auto closing.

I just had a Fusion rental for a month and had a problem with front windows not going down.  Come to find out the glass was frozen to the outside weather stripping.  I ran a credit card along the bottom outside edge, between the glass and the door, and then the windows worked correctly.

After my recent dead battery the front window's One-Touch Down/Up and Bounce-Back functions were messed up.  Driver's window would reverse when fully closed.  After searching posts and considerable "retraining" I finally got them working again.  Probably not a good idea to have windows open if you're going to have a dead battery!

Awesome instructions that still work in 2020 on my 2013 C-Max Energi!
