Happened to me for the first time this week just as I was loading a thumb drive with 200 songs on it. Did a master reset (lost all presets of course) with no results and about an hour later when a half mile from home it began working. Froze again a couple of days later but almost immediately started up again. A bit later it did a Scheduled Maintenance. Some other forums suggest it may be related to trying to connect a phone while simultaneously loading a drive. This is with version 3.5.1.

Both versions use sequential multiport electronic fuel injection.

Thanks, Laurel, but I'm not really sure I needed to know that...

I was referencing Jus-A-CMax's post above: Typically, those posters have some sort of state location under their username and it says "John from Ohio" can do 500+ miles, I am from Ohio so yeah, it is very doable..and oh look, heres Adair from PA...she can do 500+ miles...and the thinking changes to "wow, may be these drivers in the north east can get some decent MPGs.... (and I think Adair is a 'she')

Your research, mtb, is spot on: the only difference on mine is 'A1' is molded on the underside, no doubt referencing a different die or whatever is used to manufacture. But $ 38.47???? Is Ford charging military prices?

Expect to see them soon on eBay listed at outrageous prices.

Get 'em both: drive the black during cool-weather trips.

And don't forget Blackberry...(WARNING: somewhat long and very opinionated): http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=220462

Question re: Fog Lights
JAZ replied to grggwlkr's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors & Wipers
Not that it's official, but owner's manual says: FRONT FOG LAMPS Press the control to switch the fog lamps on or off. You can switch the fog lamps on when the lighting control is in any position except off and the high beams are not on. -
Hey Recumpence: just quit messing around and install a full fairing...

How do I operate the remote lift gate release?
JAZ replied to C-Maxgo's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
Trouble is, you never know when it's asleep... -
Ford employees and retirees can also generate a limited number of X-Plan PINs under the Friends and Neighbors Program (sponsors must know the individual they are sponsoring).

Adair is no longer a Wolverine?

What cool hidden feature have you discovered about your C-Max?
JAZ replied to armoredsaint's topic in General Discussion
Rather than slam my doors, I keep moderate pressure on them with just two fingers until they are closed, works every time. -
38 @ 70 is just about my experience, too.

There are two trip odometers resettable at will.

Any non-Texans who can locate Boerne on a map without first looking it up? (Not me.)

I've got a cover for my full-size spare and it either sits in the trunk or vertical on the passenger floor behind my (driver's) seat. It's large and heavy(47 lbs.) but I was leery about a space saver after reading all the chatter in the Fusion Forum. Major compromise regardless of what one chooses.

Mine works with one kick 90% of the time whether locked or unlocked.

If you're the Recumpence from BROL, then I suspect you've installed pedals in your MAX...

Ditto, Laurel.

How do I turn off my DRL's?
JAZ replied to armoredsaint's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors & Wipers
DRLs on U.S. vehicles? I think not. -
Tom and Ray on the recirculate/fresh air thing: http://www.cartalk.com/content/recirculate-versus-fresh-air-tom-and-ray-settle-one-familys-bet-line-steak-dinner I think once upon a time the idea was that recirculated air would become stale and more noxious than fresh air.

What to do before driving away from dealership?
JAZ replied to HPRifleman's topic in General Discussion
Navigation Version A4, an SD card in a plastic container (unless your dealer installs it for you in which case he should tell you).
