Fully concur with your specs (T-30, 15mm wrench, 8 screws, etc.), Hatchman, though the underside of my vehicle was very clean. I didn't closely examine the oil but greenish-brown it was, and after several days of sitting in a clear container I saw no particles or debris at the bottom. Wondering how long the cover will last in real-world driving.

You're correct: I was referring to the optional plug-in device. I can't find detailed info on what SYNC provides other than miles driven.

Additionally: State Farm says the program, dubbed Drive Safe and Save, allows for a more accurate calculation of risk, by way of a small device added to a vehicle's diagnostic port that tracks real-time driver behavior. Factors such as speed, mileage, lane changes, location, time of day and braking urgency are measured.

Thanks for the heads up!

In addition to their comfort, there is a bit of open space under those rear seats.

Where are Sherlock or Monk when we need them?

For those of you charging: do you connect the charge cables under the hood or directly to the battery in the trunk? With 600 miles I've had no problem thus far but frequent checking of the battery (under the hood) shows only 12.1 to 12.5 volts at any given time after shutdown. And thanks.

Note to Staff: Can we ban members who experience 79F temperatures in February? -
That sounds like what happened to me: I then resized the picture to exactly 800 x 384 and it loaded with no problem. As mentioned earlier, that size is anything but standard.

Did you get a message as to why the failure to load?

Why in the world would anyone take their MAX out when it might rain??? -
Found mine in the bottom of the console in a clear plastic sleeve...

Until then you can feel when the pads engage: there is a noticeable 'grab' at that point...at least for me.

Annoying is in the eye of the beholder, but it's there. -

Map version in my vehicle is A4. During the brief time I've used it, has always been spot on. Regarding the image on the MFT screen with version 3.5.1 it is not the Fusion Hybrid, but a rather potato-shaped hybrid... -

As best I can recall your image is indeed what I saw, Darrelld, so you and the other early adopters have something to look forward to (or is it: "to which you can look forward'?). -
MFT current version CMAX SEL, V3.1.3?

Sorry, but when I went out to photograph the MFT screen my camera refused to operate and Google can't seem to find any images of the new version. While driving earlier today and on the aforementioned screen I did not see any available functions, just a profile view of the C-MAX with either white or blue channels overlaid to show the power distribution. -

Not overly savvy with the MFT yet (turns out Bill Gates is not my long-lost cousin after all) but the 3.5.1 version retains the 4 quadrant format: Phone, Navigation, Climate and Entertainment. At the center bottom there is an Efficiency Leaves icon which brings up an overview of the vehicle and power distribution. Haven't yet played with that. I discovered it after posting incorrect info here.
