  1. I have Grill Covers ready to ship via USPS Priority Mail (US only). Here is INFO: Paul
  2. As long as the electrons keep flowing you are in good shape.LOL :) Paul
  3. I will gladly sell you a set of Grill Covers if you're interested. :) Paul
  4. No one should never believe what the Trip Gauge says about gas used, It is wrong 90% of the time at least. Gas pumps are very accurate. Gas varies in BTU's which has effect on MPG. This is just the way it is, usually it is off by less than 10%. Just experiment by filling up with Pure Gas once and see how close the gauge and pump are. All the vehicles I've owned have been this way. :) Paul
  5. Our lowest is $3.14, but my wife filled up her Explorer at Kroger for $2.59 with her discount points.($45) :yahoo: Paul
  6. Thanks for the info Hybridbear! Hopefully will have MadMax back in a couple of weeks - damage $5,491.00. Expensive buck. How much more does a Fusion weigh than a C-Max? Thanks, Paul
  7. I got my estimate from insurance co. via email today, $5,500. One interesting thing was I'm supposed to get a check for the amount the value the CMAX lost for being in an accident. The Adjuster said that insurers are required to do so in Georgia. I thought it would be a good idea for members to be aware of this. :) Paul
  8. I'm looking to see if it is possible to charge the hybrid Battery using a charger. I have some ideas how to do it, but need wiring diagram to see how everything is connected. You can't charge an Lithium-Ion battery like a regular lead batt. :) Paul
  9. I was wonder if anyone has a Wiring Diagram for Hybrid Battery Charging System? :) Paul
  10. There are many members of this forum that use ScanGauge and someone recently found one for around $106. I highly recommend it for WT, IAT, RPM's and IMPG. Paul
  11. You must not be going very fast or far to have that low of a temperature. Those are around town temps. :) Paul
  12. My Grill Covers don't seal, they still allow some air through and they don't damage the car being attached with velcro. I'm still surprised that living in such a cold place you wouldn't have made your own to heat up the car faster. Everyone loves a warm car in the winter. :) Paul
  13. Recumpence what coolant temps were you running? When I get my car back in couple of weeks I hope, I'm going to do some Tuff testing of the front end and adding chin spoiler. :) Paul
  14. From my experience on my trip any improvement is going tobe less than 1mpg and my solution of taping all the openings was as good as it gets aero wise. :) Paul
  15. I think this comes under "Murphy's Law " It's a mine field out there just waiting to happen. Paul
  16. I checked my 2014 FFH rental and it has 225/50-17". Paul
  17. They Dear signs all over here but it doesn't make a difference Dear don't care they go anywhere they want at their peril sometimes. Paul
  18. From what I understand all EPA testing is done with Pure Gas. It is interesting that with Pure Gas the Smart Gauge works more accurately for gal. and MPG. Paul
  19. The camera I was thinking about was for high resolution video of tuffs to watch for changes in air flow with improvements on car. As far as side view mirrors replacing temp sensor is a no problem. :) Paul
  20. I'm going to look at the 2014 FFH I'm renting to see what the tire size is, Let you know. Paul
  21. I still am not sure what you are trying accomplish? Is this suppose improve aerodynamics? I taped up hood and head lights and didn't see any significant improvement in MPG's. It might improve cooling slightly, chin spoiler would do a lot more by creating low pressure under car. Unfortunately with my CMAX out of commission for next couple of weeks or so I won't be able to tuff test. I am looking into video cameras. :) Paul
  22. Gee I didn't have to go looking,It found me and I didn't have a gun! LOL Maybe I will rename MADMAX, GUNNER! LOL :drop: Paul
  23. I was thinking about making it have a ram air effect to improve MPG. :) Paul
  24. It doesn't matter what you do , because in the long run it all averages out. I've have over 70 fillups and almost all of them were more gal. at the pump. I think the Smart gauge is calibrated for Pure Gas, because that is the way the car is tested. IMO :) Paul
