  1. Hi 666, That's not an option right now, but it could be in the future. Just share your idea with us here: http://social.ford.com/your-ideas/technologies/infotainment/ Rebecca
  2. You can say "Main menu" to go back to the Home screen, DaveofDurham. Here's a link to some useful commands: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/voice-command-categories-sync-myford-touch Let me know if you have any questions. LOL, you're welcome! Rebecca
  3. That is the only one we test; however, some customers have said a few of the texting apps do work. Unfortunately, I don't know which ones. I'm glad the error went away. If it happens to come back, it may just be a compatibility issue. I'm showing that texting doesn't work on either SYNC system with that phone. Here are the links to both of them: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/device-compatibility-sync-myford-touch http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/device-compatibility-sync Rebecca
  4. Hi CAcreek, There isn't a voice command to populate that screen, but this would be an excellent idea to post on Ford Social under Your Ideas. Here's the link: http://social.ford.com/your-ideas/technologies/infotainment/ Rebecca
  5. Good to hear, ScubaDadMiami! Let me know how it goes, bemyax. Rebecca
  6. I wish I could have been here sooner, valkraider, especially since Jus likes to pass out wine all the time! I would prefer that you don't hate Ford, and would like to make you happy with us and your C-MAX again. Have you already been in contact with your regional manager? If you have, I'd like to look at the case; if you haven't, I'd like to escalate your frustrations. Please send me you VIN in a private message when you get a chance. Rebecca
  7. Like Jus-A-CMax said, use me... just don't abuse me. ;) This is what I'm here for and don't consider it whining. LOL! Unfortunately, I cannot speak to that, but I'll be sure to let you know if and when I can. Maybe you can send a little "wining" my way. J/K Rebecca
  8. If you change your mind about going to the dealership or would like me to document your dealership feedback, please don't hesitate to shoot me a private message with the details. I'll also need your VIN, mileage, dealership, and best contact phone number. Rebecca
  9. The Wi-Fi password has a ten character limit. For VHR, your phone will dial an 888 number, connect to a server that collects and sends the data needed to compile the report, then disconnects the call. You would need to have Bluetooth on your phone for this to work. Rebecca
  10. Check your firmware, LizM. The HTC One will not work with texting if it's on firmware 1.29.651.10, but should on others. Rebecca
  11. Hi, wb8nbs, Unfortunately, no. When you run a Vehicle Health Report, your car uses your cell phone to place a call and send the report to your SYNC account. Rebecca
  12. Hey, ScubaDadMiami, Others have reported this same behavior with their Galaxy Note IIs after the Android update. I have not found a workaround yet, but try a reverse pairing to see if that helps. Here are the instructions: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/reverse-pair-phone-sync-myford-touch You may also want to try turning your Bluetooth off (on your phone) then back on before entering your vehicle. I have a feeling this was caused by the Android update though. Rebecca
  13. Take a look at this link and click on the + in the lower left of the SYNC picture: http://www.ford.com/technology/sync/?vehicle=c-max&year=2014 The MyFord radios have a keypad. :) I forgot to ask you the other day, do you have any emoticons/special characters in any of your phone contacts or the name of your phone, and so you have any social media sites (facebook, or twitter) synced with your phonebook? Rebecca
  14. Would it be possible to test your theory for a day, mtb9153? You can delete your phone from SYNC and SYNC from your phone to see if you still have any problems. This way we can eliminate one suspect. :) Rebecca
  15. Thanks for the suggestions! Don't forget to post them on Ford Social if they aren't already there. Here's the link to bring back the song progression bar: http://social.ford.com/your-ideas/technologies/infotainment/bring-back-song-progress-display/ Vote, vote, vote. ;) Rebecca
  16. You can go in to the phone settings on MFT to manually download your phonebook if you update it. Here are the steps: PHONE > SETTINGS > MANAGE PHONEBOOK > DOWNLOAD (next to Re-download Phonebook) ouch the Phone corner > Settings > Manage Phonebook. - See more at: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/manage-phonebook-sync-myford-touch#sthash.6GY58SlD.dpuf And here I thought 19 degrees was feeling pretty warm LOL. If it happens again, please let your dealership know what's going on. Rebecca
  17. Hi, pjurek99 and mtb9153, Have either of you been to your dealer to get these issues resolved, and are you both on the latest version of software? Like wab said, turning Auto Phonebook Download off, along with Wi-Fi, has been known to help. Also, ArizonaEnergi posted some great instructions on how to reset MFT: http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/2151-i-lost-voice-commands/?p=39853 Let me know if you have any questions. Rebecca
  18. Hi, HPRifleman, If Automatic Phonebook Download is turned on, MFT will check your phonebook every time your phone connects to it; any changes made to a contact, MFT will update the stored phonebook. Hope that explanation helps! Rebecca
  19. I suggest letting your dealership know in advance that you'd like them to update your SYNC. That way they can have everything ready when your wife gets there. Let me know what you think of the update. Rebecca
  20. Hey, Springbank, There were some Bluetooth Audio issues with iOS 6 that were corrected once updated to 7.0; however, I'd suggest connecting your phone via USB to see if this issue still presents itself. You can also perform the steps that fotomoto suggested above, but I can't speculate on if that will help with your concern. Rebecca
  21. Thanks for posting this, joe! As a side note, some Android phones will also download "Groups" if they are selected. Rebecca
  22. Aww thanks, fbov. I'm glad to be here! :) Rebecca
  23. Hey, cptcrusty1, All of the above suggestions are great to find out which version you are on. To get to the CCPU # on MyFord Touch (MFT), press the following on the touchscreen: Gears > ?HELP > SYSTEM INFORMATION > CCPU S/W Version It should match what drdiesel1 shows in his picture if you have the latest (v3.6.2). If it's not the same, check your SYNC account at www.Support.Ford.com to see if there is an available update. Contact your dealership if your account reflects that you're up-to-date. There may be other components of your vehicle that need to be updated prior to MFT. Rebecca
  24. Hi, BretJ, I agree that a dealer visit is in order. Let me know how it goes. I suggest a dealer visit for you as well if the buttons aren't working; however, the cradle could definietely be causing your other issue. You can try a master reset on MFT to see if that helps: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync-myford-touch I'm sure you already know this, but as a disclaimer, the master reset will clear all of your SYNC-related data (phone pairing, indexing, etc.) When you notice the delay or even lack of response, HPRifleman, are you listening to music on your phone via USB or Bluetooth? If so, that could be causing the delays. Rebecca
  25. I'd love to be able to answer these questions for you both; however, they're a little out of my scope but Ashley/FordService would be able to help. Rebecca
