  2. Make sure the master reset went through all the way, fordjunk. If your radio presets were still saved or the phone was still paired, the master reset may need to be performed again. Here are the steps if you have MyFord Touch (let me know if you have a different system): http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/myford-touch/phone-setup/how-to-perform-a-master-reset.html Since this is a speed-restricted feature, make sure the vehicle is in park while you're resetting. If you don't notice an improvement after performing another master reset, I recommend scheduling an appointment with your dealership. They'll take great care of you! Kim
  3. Hi SPL, The maps cannot be download, they should be purchased from your dealer or our map provider, HERE. Their website is www.navigation.com. The type of card you'd want is dependent on where you are located. The A4/5/6 cards are for the U.S. and Canada, and the B4/5/6 cards are for the U.S. and Mexico.   4. Hi rajames2, By full system reset, are you referring a master reset within MFT? Also, were you able to perform an ignition cycle (turning your C-MAX off and back on)? Let me know when you get a chance. Rebecca
  5. Hi MadManMoon, Thank you for your interest in SYNC 3! I'll pass along your feedback; however, the current stance is that there will not be an aftermarket kit for SYNC 3 to be installed on vehicles with SYNC, SYNC with Navigation, or MyFord Touch. I have seen the post you are referring to, but I cannot speculate on it. Rebecca
  6. Oh my gosh, I know! It's an awesome car. It's such a smooth ride and the back seat is super roomy. I'm short, but even with the front seats pushed all the way back, I still have a massive amount of leg room. I'm still deciding, but my next vehicle will be a C-MAX or an Edge, or maybe both... LOL!     SYNC 3

    Hi everyone! Since SYNC 3 is all-new hardware and software, it will not be backwards compatible. We will continue to release updates for SYNC and MyFord Touch as needed. Hi Zathrus, Like ScubaDadMiami stated, deleting and re-pairing your phone should correct this; if you performed all of the troubleshooting on that link and it's still not working, keep your appointment with your dealership. If it's still not working after they reprogram your SYNC, let me know and we will go from there. :) Rebecca
  13. Hi Kelleytoons, "Performing Scheduled Maintenance" means your MFT was rebooting. If this continues to occur often, please make an appointment with your dealership to have them diagnose and correct this; however, once in a while is okay. Rebecca
  14. Google Hangouts is not a supported app by SYNC. Try switching it back to the default app your phone came with. Here's how: Settings > Wireless & networks > More > Default SMS app Let me know if that helps. Rebecca

MyFord Touch has a complimentary subscription to SYNC Services; the MyFord (non-touchscreen SYNC system) does not, and it's $60 a year.   20. I have an LG G2 with Kit Kat and it works; my previous phone had Jellybean which also worked. Unfortunately, it's a different group that supports the app, but I suggest using the email option under DEVELOPER to see what's going on, IGregor. Please be sure to include your phone information and the exact error message you were getting. Rebecca
  21. Which phone do you have? The app is compatible for most iPhones, Androids, iPads, and BlackBerrys. However, you can still use SYNC Services for turn-by-turn directions if you don't wish to use your navigation system.   22. Great suggestion, shinytop! SYNC Destinations works with your SYNC Services subscription, so be sure to setup your SYNC account at www.Support.Ford.com, IGregor Wrzbcki. Then when you send the address to your car, you'll press the VOICE button, say SERVICES, and then it will ask you if you want to download the directions.
