would be nice but I'm not holding my breath

strange my diagram shows F85 as a spare and F86 for the heated seats with a 20amp fuse. This is per the manual for early adopters since my SEL was built on September 9th 2012

I was at my dealer yesterday to have them replace the headliner (not related to the recall) but as it turns out, Ford elected to just replace the black weatherstrip for the rear hatch. Looks better but not what I was promised. While I was there I went out on the new car lot and parked in single file line were 14 2013 CMaxes, 2 were SE models the rest SEL's fully loaded. Wide range of colors including silver, red, blue and oxford white. No Platinum White models. 9 were Engergi's the rest Hybrid models. Come to Frontier Ford if you want a brand new CMax which are deep discounted with 2014's on the way.

I have my Go Pro mini HD cam mounted on top of the CD Player

My volt meter is how I found a fuse location to power my new LED DRLs in the engine compartment fuse box, which is the hardest thing to get too hidden under the hood. I broke the plastic latch trying to remove the cover. It is up against the firewall in front of the drivers compartment completely not visible, you do it completely by touch. Sounds like the passenger compartment fuse box isn't much better. I swear Ford what were you thinking? Just trying to keep the DIY owner from doing certain things themselves? I will check this out tomorrow and let you know what I find.

According to a diagram I found online fuse 85 is a spare, question is does it have 12v all the time? If so you could use an add a fuse and connect to the un-used pins. Simple connection power source Earth locations E1 On engine E2 On engine E3 In Engine Bay behind LH headlight E4 "A" pilar drivers side E5 In luggage compartment E6 LH side of luggage compartment E7 In Engine bay behind RH headlight E8 & E9 In passenger compartment, front of LH inner sill E10 engine bay, by LH strut tower E11-E13 In passenger compartment, front of RH inner sill E14 Roof opening panel E15 behind center of dash E16 In passenger compartment, LH inner sill below B post

Im not sure where the passenger fuse panel is located, if someone can tell me I'll probe the fuses with my Volt Meter and find a full time 12V source

I was able to go well past empty in my quest for 653 miles before running out of gas. I went at least 30 miles before getting the message to pull over when safe. Carry a 2 gallon can of gas if you are going to play this game.

Maxus has never been kept outside I'm happy to say.

Well the topic line says it all, not sure why this is happening? Changed nothing in my driving, I'm noticing also I can't score a 95% or better brake score. 100% is rare no matter how hard I try. Other than the fact that our morning and evening temps have drastically dropped, I don't know what to make of this change in Fuel usage. My AvMPG has dropped from 48.5 to barely above 46.1 I don't want to see my numbers fall below 46.0 but I'm afraid it is just a matter of time. Also this present tank is going to fall short of 500 miles unless I can put a miracle out somewhere with what's left of the tank.

don't want to give up my cargo space with my SEL Hybrid until Ford finds a way get it back in the Energi.

Good thought, anyone know if this is possible?

I do hope she can forgive the sequence of events and return to the forum. I don't know why things like this happen? A simple comment(s) pointed wrongly can be as bad as a slap in the face. Please come back Laurel

I am considering cutting out that one vertical rib if I'm sure it will not weaken the strength of my front fascia. I don't like the way it splits the beam of light from all 8 LED's

Thank you very much, I was concerned afterwards about pasting my license all over the forum and ultimately over the net. This tool is part of Adobe Photoshop? Probably not part of the cheaper version I have called Elements 10

Had a great conversation with a Prius V owner the other day.
mtb9153 replied to Recumpence's topic in General Discussion
I had a 2005 Saturn Vue Redline which was their sportier version of the Vue. Mine had All Wheel Drive and I loved it. But driving 40 miles or more a day was killing my pocket. So started looking at Hybrids, first the Prius but they were to expensive and about the same for the Volt. I wanted a nearly loaded car for under $40k, CMax was the only choice. -
Yes I love it and can't say enough about it, rubberized paint who would have guessed? Put it on, no need to sand or rough up the surface for prep which makes it irreversible. Just make sure the surface is dry and clean. Spray it on with plenty of ventilation this stuff has a powerful smell and certainly not good for you in a confined area. Get tire of it down the road? Peal it off good as new and just like it was before painting.

Really! I didn't know you could do this modification. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 for Mac

Here is a picture I took of the DRL's with Maxus out in the sun at 11:40 local time Pacific. I didn't resize it down so hopefully this won't be an issue at 640x480. The black vertical line you see which seems to break out a small portion of the light is because of the black plastic support panel which is part of a larger section of the bumper sub layer between the outer fascia painted in my Platinum White Tri-Color and the louver assembly (I think?) The other pic was taken a couple days ago and was taken in my garage before I had the LED's wired and working .

Bummer sorry to hear of your loss. I share your craving for chocolate milk. Sure miss the collapsible grocery storage bin which was in the rear of the cargo area in my 2005 Saturn Vue Redline that I sold for my CMax. When collapsed it was flush with the carpeted floor of the cargo area. Leave it to GM to out think Ford.

not visualizing what you are suggesting here, but sounds interesting if I could just get my mind in gear?

Strangely enough my door chime started working AGAIN over the weekend while I was wiring my DRL lights. Had the drivers door open allot with the smart key laying in the cupholder and running back and forth under the hood
