Should be an easy process. I don't understand how some cars don't have these items when delivered from the factory. is someone at the dealers level hording these things? I don't feel there is any trouble with the available cargo space behind the back seat. It is to be expected from a car of this design and market placing for it's class. I also fail to see how the CMax has less room than a sedan Prius with the seats up? Maybe in the "V" model they might have more? I've never seen the interior of that model, so I can't judge it. Two hours for a test drive? WOW! I'm impressed, I've never gone more than around the block or down the blvd and back to the dealer. I agree the cloth seats look cheap and why I got the leather for a bit more. I love mine with no regrets. Shouldn't be anymore challenging for a child seat in a CMax over a Prius, about the same interior appointments. Hope you buy a CMax and experience a better built Hybrid and support American Engineering and jobs.

Seems like Ford should have just designed it that way from the beginning? With it molded in?

Yes I want one, need a part number so my dealer knows what I'm talking about? Seems since I didn't get it with my Max at delivery I should get one for free.

What happens when the ICE needs air and can't get it due to the covers. I think the covers are a bad idea. But in the great frozen middle section and east coast, I guess this wouldn't be a problem much of the time. But still the idea of cutting out air flow to the engine concerns me when it is needed. I'm getting 47+ pretty routinely lately since resetting my average mileage at my last fill up. Right now around town I'm seeing between 46.3 to 47.4 depending on my driving and road conditions.

I didn't get any plastic piece for the cupholder, I'll have to check on this. Wasn't aware there was such a thing...thanks

Looking good Rachel, your way ahead of me. I've been meaning to do the same, just haven't got around to it. For us here where spring has been around for awhile, it way be too late for me to still plant my garden.

Funny thing is when I filled up last Tuesday I zeroed the average mileage reading since it was reading 40.7 for weeks. After I started up it naturally started counting up the miles very quickly and in no time is was reading 45mpg and it got up to 47.3 as a high then fell back to 44.5. Now it is back at 46+ and has been staying pretty consistent in the upper 40's, even with the A/C on since we hit the 80's here in the bay area today. Love this car and I'm seeing almost as many CMaxes running around the south bay as I'm seeing Tesla Model S. I see one of them almost around every corner it seems.

Well I finally hit the 47 mark in town (Wooh Hoo) so it can be done but not without very careful driving and braking. Planning ahead is vital to getting this number. Enjoy the ride...

I somewhat disagree with this statement. First of all it wasn't Ford who made this claim, it was the EPA who posted the estimates of 47/47. As I see it, Ford just went along with it and started advertising the numbers. Granted I haven't achieved 47mpg with every tank but I have seen 47+ mpg grace my trip summary screen.

latest pic of my oldest and longest running tank of gas bought back on March 21, 2013. Will pretty much finish it off on Tuesday morning commute. Computer says only 32 miles until "E". Will fall short of the 600 mile mark, but hey! I gave it a great try. I'm getting closer. Enjoy the ride...

I would like to throw out a question regarding the numbers that appear on MyView. My current tank is showing the numbers in the attached picture. It lists the mileage and the EV miles. My question for all you knowledgeable folks is this, if it says I have 504.2 miles and 279.0 EV. Does that mean that from that 504.2, 279.0 where EV miles? Or does it mean that the EV miles are separate from the 504.2? Just curious. Enjoy the ride...
