EV+ showed up today when I turned in the alley to our house. Pretty good, as we picked up the car Saturday night and didn't drive at all yesterday due to the snow. Oh, and Christmas. We just stayed inside.

Yes, so now the C-Max is a new Ford color: Snow Storm Blue. ;-)

Oh, I wish I could take loads of credit for that wallpaper. It's simply a BBC publicity piece cropped and resized. Here are the specs in case anyone else wants to do their own wallpaper: 800x384 pixels at a max file size of 1.5MB. Allowed extensions are .jpg, .gif, png, and .bmp I also took the extra step of making sure the image resolution was 96dpi (any higher resolution is likely just a waste of bytes). Yeah, now I can say my car is smaller on the outside. ;-)

Welcome! We're waiting for our C-Max, too. I test drove the Prius V and the C-Max on the same day, and was the handling of the C-Max won hands down.

Other than that C-Max, the only ones I've see on the road here are ones taking test drives. But hey, maybe by the first of the year there will be one more on the road!

We saw a Focus in that color on the lot. I really do like that color. When we test drove the car we joked that it felt bigger on the inside. Given the color we chose, we may have to name it TARDIS.

They said there's a chance we'll get it Christmas Eve, but I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't complain if it arrived then, though. ;-)

Ah, I was trying to think about where there was a Bankston in Plano. We ordered ours through Five Star Ford. So far the staff has been very helpful.

We have a C-Max on order that's scheduled to be built next week. I've poked around here for a week and decided that perhaps I ought to sign up. I'm really looking forward to the C-Max. We'd been thinking about going hybrid for our next car, and the C-Max won us over. Looks like there's a lot of good info here. Julie

We used to have a Taurus that was a dark blue, and I don't think it had any more heat issues than our current car, which is "champagne." Really, a kind of goldish. We're also in North Texas, for what it's worth. The Taurus died an early death thanks to a red light runner. ;-(
