Oh, nothing......I thought I was taking it in for the next phase of the *phone vs car allergy testing*, but 3.5.1 was in, so they kept it and did the update and the liftgate fix. Took half a day, so the service manager gave me a car. It's gonna be hotter here for the next few days, so fingers crossed that the update takes care of the SYNC issues I was having.

......for a day to appreciate what you have in the C-MAX. And it's not just about the MPGs.....it's the whole driving experience......from the quiet start to the smooth acceleration to all the little technological marvels that I'm coming to realize are not the norm. Don't get me wrong.......I was hugely grateful to my dealership for loaning me the Escape yesterday, but it only served to reinforce why I'm glad I bought the C-MAX instead. And I'm also glad I got mine with all the *bells and whistles* that I did (even tho I haven't used Park Assist yet) I was really happy to get back behind the wheel of the Jelly Bean yesterday afternoon. :yahoo: (this was NOT a paid announcement :woot:)

You can also get Fuelly for Droids, altho I haven't used it to enter yet. I'd like to encourage everyone to join Fuelly. It seems that a lot of the negative press mentions *mileage tracking websites* as a source of information. We've got some good stuff going on on this board. If we all join, I believe it could positively change the Fuelly landscape.....

Karen at Ford told me it would be *over the next 2 weeks*. I am so happy to see so many folks are able to get their upgrades this week! Now we can collectively hold our breaths to see if this solves some/most/all of the issues!

13A01 - SYNC WITH MYFORD TOUCH - APPLICATION PERFORMANCE UPGRADE 13B06 - REAR GATE TRUNK MODULE REPROGRAM Both of these are being done to my car today! They said it took about half a day, so sometime this afternoon I should have it back. This was unplanned.....I was just taking it in for the special phone pairing, but they said they could do it. Hats off to Briarwood Ford Service team!!!

I wonder, Jus, if they are doing the rollout gradually......not everyone at once.........so as not to overwhelm the dealerships with service requests? I can't imagine that everyone who bought their car before Feb, and has 3.1.3 won't be eligible for the upgrade. I'll be talking to my *new best friend* @ Ford this week and will ask her. She told me it could take up to 2 weeks for everyone to see the upgrade letter.

I'm taking mine in today for the next phase in the *allergy testing* of my car/phone. I printed off the page from FordEtis and I'm taking it with me. The 3.5.1 update should show up in their info since the lady from Ford told me it was there last Wednesday. I'll report back........

TestDriver....I drive from Milan to the west side of A2 5 days a week. I work not far from Varsity. I couldn't believe how many C-MAXs they had.

I came to this forum knowing only a few things about cars......how to start them, how to stop them, how to fill them, how to check the oil and the air in the tires......and how to take them for repairs. :baby: Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine being interested in doing much more than that..........until my C-MAX. :wub2: It would have been very easy for the earlier, more knowledgable (much more!) folks here to have laughed me off the screen :hysterical: . But no one ever did. They treated my novice questions with respect and thereby encouraged me to ask more and learn more (See, it's your own fault that you are stuck with me now!) Now I can go into my dealership and speak with some semblance of knowledge about my car.........it's empowering! :salute: I want to share that power with other owners! :hi5: :I think that's what this forum is all about.

Perhaps the rollout for 3.5.1 is going to be gradual, to avoid overloading individual dealerships.....just a thought. All you need is your VIN #. The update may correct some of these issues.
