Made an appointment with them to get opticoat on my car on Thursday, free loaner was a nice touch since ill need to get back to work in kirkland. $560 + tax for all prep work + opticoat.

Indeed, what size are the bulbs? I am interested in getting some brighter/whiter ones after my car gets in. -
If there were EV chargers at my work I would have gone for an energi, that way my work commute could be 100% on electricity (about 16 miles each way). Plus the fact that most charging stations around here are free, I would only pay for about half my power cost to charge the vehicle. Already asked my boss, they wont let me run an extension cord out to the parking lot :( I guesstimated my payback would be half the normal amount. Even then I decided it wasn't really worth it. I would rather have the utility of having more trunk space.

xbox music is the new "zune" streaming on the WP8 devices.

This is the first time I have read someone using a WP8 device with the c-max's sync. Glad to hear it works. I use a Nokia920 for my work & music phone. Does the music streaming work with xbox music via sync?

Indeed! Cyberdman on the blueoval forums said my ETA was the 14th, but the dealership says 17th. Hrm.... Its only 3 days but that is some hope. I will inquire with him again in a week. Weekly updates from him are better than the highly sporadic updates from my dealership. :banghead:

Delivery is still the 17th :( Supposedly its stuck in a waiting lot somewhere waiting for train capacity.

Went to dealership today to check on status, looks like my delivery date got pushed back a couple weeks :( Its in Indiana right now and estimated delivery is the 17th. They said it shouldnt take 3 weeks to get here from there and are going to check in on it again today.

In WA the law is if you get in a fender bender the guy that hits the other car is automatically 100% at fault (because he shouldn't be following so close and should have braked). Whenever I see people tailgating me I always break check them. If they fail they get to pay for all my repairs under the state law. That also means super aggressive tailgaters aren't all that common around here. It is fun to troll them though. Making their blood pressure rise is lowering mine, heh.

afaik its a safeguard to prevent airbag deployment when a childs seat is there (even though you still shouldn't put one in the front)

I signed my loan paperwork and handed over my down payment check yesterday. Delivery is down to under 2 weeks. The wait is killing me!

Lucky that your dealership gives you that info up front. Its like pulling teeth with mine to get info. Nobody would look up a VIN on the phone for me so I had to go in and harass the sales manager to get him to look it up in the system. -

Went to the dealership yesterday to inquire about my VIN. It was added to the system on Saturday. w00t! My scheduled build day is 3/22, estimated delivery date is 4/8 :D
