I think he is referring to the physical engine firewall that's in cars, not a computer firewall.

Except theres no combustion that happens in the electric motor...

JohnOhio: Wow, ford must be ramping up production like crazy. Hopefully my order goes through quick too :D I am going to call my dealership tomorrow to see if I have a VIN assigned yet.

Hrm, about 3 weeks to get a VIN? Not bad. I will have to harass my dealer at the 3 week mark. I ordered mine Feb 14th and was quoted a early April delivery estimate.

Hopefully they crank them out faster so my order gets here sooner :P I have seen about 5 different hybrids near my Seattle house & travel to work. Only ever seen one Energi on the road.

Hey, Naw I am in Seattle, WA. Found this forum while researching for delivery time. I intend to soak up lots of info in my 6 week wait.

I just ordered a 2013 C-MAX SEL /w 303a & Sunroof in Blue Candy last week. Was quoted 6-8 Weeks for delivery.
