I know that the pillar covers come off pretty easy and I would suspect that they only need to pull the headliner away to perform the service, but I am no Ford tech. I don't have half those things in my SE, but thanks for the heads up. I will be looking for: Antenna cable (by tuning the radio, I guess?) Rear washer (by making sure it squirts?) Overhead Lighting (by opening the doors and/ or playing with the overhead buttons?)

That's what I mean. In theory, I should have done better, had I had the correct pressure. Can't wait to see the next tank results :happy feet:

Highest MPG CMax Club (minimum 500 miles)

Booo, oh well, lol. It is going to be a few weeks before I make my entry, but I am sure I will make this list, too :) -
I don't think the sammich will be any good after shipping :p I thought so too. I just called my dealer and told them there was an update. They checked their system and found it right away, so I made today's appointment last Friday.
-
I like it so far, but only made 1 trip from dealer, to gas station, to work. I will be taking a lunch time run shortly, and will be posting my trip data and any other feedback I notice along the way ;)

Ok, so I think, I am the first to get the update. So this thread will be my log of how things are different/ same. First Impression: Car drives like it normally does (not a "new beast"). Perhaps not so oddly, my MTE went up after the update, without driving at all. Everything seems to run smoother as power from either motor makes it to the wheels. So here is what the new EV limit means to us, so far. Nothing changed when accelerating, or passing vehicles. When you need power above 50 mph, you are still going to use the ICE. It was VERY refreshing to see the car immediately drop to EV mode, while coasting at 75 mph. No more idle speed use of ICE when off the gas pedal. This must account for the improved FE at highway speeds. I also noticed the shorter warm up time from the cold start. I never timed it before, but it certainly felt shorter after the update. I topped off my tank and rest Trip 1. I will continue to update how this tank goes, but I have high hopes, at the moment. Here are my starter pics. I am going to post up as many trips as I can remember to do, for the entire first tank. Due to forum limits, not all pics will appear in this first post, however, I will be posting them. I forgot to snap a pic at the gas station, but here it is anyway:

Does my entry in the 600+ club count? I had 49.9 on that tank. -

Headliner Issue: Unable to repair headliner, they are ordering the "part" The part is actually a reinforcement kit, according to my service tech. I have to reschedule when the part arrives.

PCM update completed (really darn quickly, I may add). They inspected the headliner, and of course, had to order the part. They tell me it will be in house in a few days. I will find the headliner thread and update progress there :) I am going to do a partial tank refill and reset Trip 1. I will document/ update as I go. I guess I will start a new thread for documentation purposes, since I am the first to get the update.

BTW, I checked my tire pressure and it was at 32 psi on all four corners :drop: . Live and learn, even new cars need the basics checked. BUT, that means I pulled my two 600+ tanks on -6 psi from standard. is that (*), or note worthy?
-
Me too, as I avoided the freeway as much as I could due to poor drivers messing up my cruising speeds. They may not be. My dealer said they were aware of the issue, but had to take things apart to figure out what exactly is wrong. I don't have high hopes for the headliner, since they seem unsure what the problem really is.

So, I decided to show a two day average for my commutes, as they are almost always short ones. The following is the start of Day 1 through end of Day 2. Every time I shut off the car, I snapped the trip screen. No trips were omitted from this post  Home to Work: Lunch time fun run: Work to Happy Hour: Happy Hour to Home: Day 1 Reading:

My new Personal Best: 90% city Gas receipt shows 12.243 gallons filled. Fuelly stated MPG for this tank = 52.1
-
CHEERS!!!! I was getting 14 MPG in my STi, lol.

I spend a lot of time in idle, so if someone where to use my trip 2 time and divide my miles, etc, you would not get an accurate average speed. Are you factoring in things like that when you calculate off other pics?
