  1. I did the 11 on/off cycles when I arrived home today. I will update tomorrow after work with whether or not it recognized my house.
  2. I spoke too soon. When I arrived back to work from lunch, it found EV+
  3. That's exactly what I thought....I never see that, lol.
  4. EV+ mode is enabled through the settings menu, I have mine on.
  5. I tried "forcing" the EV+ location using your method, but nothing changed in terms of indicators on the dash.
  6. Thanks MikeB. I did a Lifetime Reset at exactly 600 miles because between the the poor mileage/ EV ratio and minor brake abuse from test drivers (car had almost 300 miles on it when I got it), I wanted a Lifetime of MY stats:). I have gone 150 miles (mostly back and forth to work) since the reset, but I have 0 EV+ locations stored. I was starting to get concerned about this, prompting me to post. Just in case I am missing something, where is the "EV+" indicator? Is it just an add-on to the EV indicator bar/ light?
  7. Found this filter . Being new to hybrids, but fresh out of the turner world, I have to wonder why the product was even made. I know K&N filter often add a couple extra HP, but would C-Max even benefit from this? Like I said, filter/ intake upgrades don't really add much power, but could our cars be more restricted than the average car? Also, would the new filter negatively impact mpg's, provided normal driving conditions? I rarely stomp the pedal, so the added power would be almost never used. I do think it would be nice to have a little more pep getting onto the highway (altho, I don't have any issues doing so). In the past, I have used K&N filters for the HP and the fact the are reusable. I still think having a reusable filter will save me money in the long run. Just tossing around ideas for discussion. What do you guys think?
  8. I have this mode enabled, but it has yet to learn my house or my work, despite the fact I have had the car 3 weeks now. I tried to find the reset procedure in the manual, but was unable to find out how to reset the memory. I will try the 11 starts thing to try to trick it into learning my work. Is there really a way to reset the memory for this and if so, how?
  9. As my name suggests, I HAD an 11' Subaru STi Limited, so YES, I changed my driving habits. I HATE this car for everything it isn't, but LOVE it for everything that it is. I was used to do spirited driving on a daily basis, whipping country road corners, playing in the snow, and generally toasting most cars on the road, at my pleasure. It is a great car and had nothing wrong with it when I traded it in. Now I sip acceleration from the pedal, coast much more often, brake a sh*t-ton sooner (and softer). Driving the C-max is a harsh reality check for me. I am saving a ton of money over the STi and being much nicer to the planet, but don't think for one second I won't be looking at a sport compact again in my life. Bottom line is we live in at the mercy of Big Oil these days and I could not find better value for my money than with the C-Max. It does everything I NEED (not want). My passengers are more comfortable, I saved $100/mo. on payments and lowered my insurance by $575/yr. Never mind the fact I was getting 15cty/20hwy for mpg's with a 15.9 gal. tank range of around 200-210miles.
  10. Spotted a White (no fog lights) on Hazelwood Ave. in Baltimore at around 3:15PM.
  11. lol I am doing mine exterior dips because I want my C-Max to stand out from the crowd. As my name suggests, I come from an STi, so modding is still in my blood. It probably always will be :)
  12. Mine worked fine with the snow this morning. I will pay better attention and try mine tomorrow to make sure.
  13. What areas? (Baltimore, Rockville, NE DC, etc.) What color(s)? Any other things seen to make them stand out? (Tint, Wheels, Trim level (if known), etc.)
  14. Jay, Keep us posted. I, in particular, come from a car modding background and love playing with auxiliary lighting. My car is not a week old to me yet, so I am just starting to look into different things. Truth is that I will always have the "mod bug", even if I picked a car that typically isn't modded. That being said, I plan on tapping into the auxiliary lighting system to add some LEDs to light the floors (like you already have), and some other ideas. To address your question of powering the LED ring, I would try tapping the power off your current floor lighting and just run the wire(s) up to the steering column. This way, all your lights come on without user intervention. If you are saying that the floor lighting goes out too fast, then I would tap a constant power source and install a toggle switch near, or on, the door somewhere. This option would allow you to toggle it on when entering the vehicle. You just need to remember to turn if off again, lol.
  15. I am doing the plasti-dipped wheels in glass black, as well. I will posting my own thread, tho, because I am dipping more than just wheels. Lookin' good MTB
  16. I am starting this thread so people can post their sightings, specific to Maryland. I have yet to see another C-Max on the road, but I am sure they are out there. Mine is a 2013 C-Max SE, White Titanium (currently has rear Al Packer Ford plate frame) (Exterior visual mods soon to come ;) )
