  1. Broke down & bought mine last week. 10,750 miles, 7 yr, 100k plan with $50 deductible. $1265 from Anderson & Koch.
  2. I hope somebody comes up with something soon. Wife wants one. Didn't want to pay $2000 extra for it tho.
  3. Wife & I have been talking about this same thing for months. No commercials, no ads or anything. She said she hopes they're not going to drop the Max.
  4. Can't recall seeing this mentioned already. Radio display doesn't list the artist or song anymore, even tho RDS is turned on. Anybody else seen this yet?
  5. GOT MINE TODAY!!! Bought it Memorial day weekend, live in VA, last name begins with B. Lifetime avg 48.4 now. Hitting 50+ around town a lot now. Got a 62 plus over 12 mile trip last week. Think I'll put mine towards my next car fund. Buying for me this time since my better half uses the Max. Thinking arother CMax, Honda Civic or VW Golf TDI.
  6. A couple times my wife has missed a call on her cell phone while she was at work & afterwards got into the car. After entering the car her phone connects & starts ringing through the car then hangs up & starts all over again, & again, & again. Anybody else suffering with this craziness? At updates done already.
  7. I'm In VA. Guess I won't be seeing mine anytime soon. Bummer
  8. Anybody catch post 19 saying the starter is also an internal component? Not good. Sounds like I'll be extended warranty shopping soon.
  9. Wish I could find some ethanol free gas around here. We run 87 with 10% E. 44 psi on tires. 48.3 mpg avg now.
  10. Tire guages are like thermometers. They all read different. Go to your local Wmart or hardware store & look at the display of outdoor thermometers. You'll be amazed it the different temp readings. Cheap tire guages are the same way.
  11. My "whine" isn't like that. It's a "whine" LOL The "buzz" everybody hears is the ac compressor. Almost always noticeable at startup. Can't tell where the new whine is coming from yet.
  12. I'm working on a mini orchard myself. Seems I'm only feeding the critters tho. 3 plum trees, 2 apples trees, 1 pear tree & 8 blueberry plants & only got a handfull of berries for us. The deer & squirells love me tho. Lol
  13. Engine seems to be running longer, ac is having to be set to a lower temp, even tho it's cooler outside, & we're hearing a high pitched whine that we've never heard before.
  14. Installed some rain vents / guards, or whatever you call them. Having the one touch down windows sure doesn't work very well when you're trying to lower them for these tho. LOL
  15. Yeah , I know about the fob rolldown. Dont think I mashed it in my pocket. Who knows? Lol
  16. 48.2 mpg Getting mileage upgrade & rollover thing Sept 9th.
  17. Think I saw another post with this same issue somewhere. Wife asked me today if I rolled down the windows. Nope, didn't touch em. Somehow they rolled themselves down. What the heck?
  18. I don't like the hidden vent either. Usually keep it turned off. We also point the center passenger vent to the driver & the drivers vent to the passenger. If you turn the outer vents you can bounce the air off of the window & get pretty good flow on you too. It is a strange setup tho. Hard to control.
  19. 3 pm to 3am power loss? Lol Try 5 days. We've had a few 2-5 day outages. Not fun.
  20. Have the wipers set in the auto mode. Several times they have taken a single swipe across the windshield, even tho it's dry as a bone outside. Anybody else seeing this?
  21. I'd be very interested in this. We lose power every other storm it seems like. I have a big generator that I've wired with a transfer switch into the house panel breakers. Costs about $30-35 a day to run. Better than losing hundreds of dollars out of the freezer tho.
  22. Man, that stinks! Sorry about that. We almost had to make a trip to the body shop ourselves a couple days ago. Wife was driving & it was pouring down rain. A driver beside us in the right lane decided they wanted to come over in our lane. Thought they were going to come right through my door. Wife slammed on the brakes & they just cleared our front fender. Wife didn't even have time to blow the horn. Very close call. Less than 3000 miles. Would have hated having the whole right side tore up already.
  23. Thank you, thank you very much! Elvis has now left the building. Lol
  24. I'll be happy to take the check. Found money if you ask me. We're very happy with ours. Lifetime avg now at 48. Lots of 15-20 mile trips at middle to upper 50's. Not planning on trading anytime soon so even if the value goes down it's no big deal, as long as it keeps running well.
