Had ours less than a week but we are already showing 44 & up mpgs, displayed on the screen mind you. Wife did a 26 mile run yesterday on rural roads, ac on 76 & got 47.6. I believe the differences are mostly weather related. I own some Geo Metros & belong to the geometroforum.com We also discuss many different ways to increase our mileage. Grill blocks, adding air to the tires, aero mods, total removal of ac systems, etc. Cold weather totally robs those cars of mpgs. Typical loss of 5 to 9 mpg in winter with winter blend gas is not uncommon.

Worked for me too. Used it when I picked up ours last week.

Well, we picked up Ruby last night after work. Drove home via country back roads mostly 35-50 mph. Rode very nice. Hard to believe how quiet it is. Display showed 53 miles, 31 EV & 44.3 mpg avg. That stinks. I wanna see the manager, maybe get my money back. LOL Seriously, how'd I do for the first run?

My wife has been driving a 2011 Camry & not liking it. Good mpgs, 28 combined, 33 hwy real world. Said she'd like something that sat up higher so she could see out better. She also has a hip issue & the low seat in the Camry was bugging her. We were trying to decide between a Honda CRV & Mazda's new CX5. Both are very nice but really wanted more mpgs. Stumbled across the C-Max & started reading everything I could find on it. I know we won't get 47 mpg out the gate or maybe never, but if we can get 35-39 that would be great. We both like how it sits up higher, & it will be easier for the better half to get in/out of. My insurance is going to be about $80 more a yr than the Camry, plus the new "hybrid tax" of $65 in our fair state. We're picking up our's tonight with only 4 miles on it. Very glad we didn't have to order one & wait for it to come in. I'm ready to start cruzin' now. Lol

Just put a deposit on our Ruby SEL, 300A pkg with light stone interior. I wanted dark, she wanted light interior. I guess it will cut down on some of the AC use with the lighter interior. Oh well, sometimes you're the windshield & sometimes you're the bug. Gotta keep the wife happy. Going to pick it up Thursday night after work.They showed me one with the "roof". I didn't care for it. Had a concern about extra fuel use heating or cooling & thought the shade was kinda cheesy. Not knocking it, just isn't me. I drive Geo Metros & usually get 50+ mpg out of a 3 cylinder. So this latest edition will help the wife bring her mpg avg up somewhat compared to the 2011 Camry she's been driving. Been enjoying reading all the topics

I put a deposit on a Ruby Red SEL 300A pkg yesterday. Going to pick it up Thursday night. Sold my 2011 Camry to Carmax last night after leaving the dealership. They gave me a couple grand more than the dealer was offering on trade. I usually sell my cars myself, to make the most $$$, but got a really good deal on the Cmax & wanted to move on it quick.
