Saw an articule awhile back where they just bypass the locking gas cap. Seems they carry a cordless drill & drill a hole in your gas tank then catch it with a bucket. In most cases you're looking at a new tank afterwards. Yeah, I hate a thief.

Just noticed a big panel located at the drivers side rear cargo area that has popped out & wont stay in place. RH panel is fine. Going to have them check it when we do the new update.

Thank goodness I've not had the issues others have had. Guess if I had to, I could consider the V model, as it's the only one I could get in without wacking my head. Hopefully you got a good trade in price & your new ride works out ok.

Went by the dealer Sat & the SA said I could get an apt now for the fuel update. Said it could take between 1-5 hrs depending on how well it "took". Not too reassuring. Said they didn't have a clue about the roof / B pillar repair yet.

If you figure it out, let us know. I'm in the same boat. Ruby red with 300A pkg. Didn't want to pay $2, 000 for the camera.

My center hole was uncovered, side holes taped up.

Sorry for your problems. Seems I need to get ours to the dealer too as the ac is acting weird. Sounds like yours. Cold then hot, even tho its not set on auto. Bottom guage by shifter says ac is running while the big screen says its not. Go figure. Seems as if the two screens aren't talking to each other. Anybody else seen this?

Welcome aboard. Sorry about the dead battery. We bought ours May 30 and haven't had any battery issues, knock on wood. We were looking at suvs because the better half wanted something that sat up higher. Looked at Rav4, Mazda CX5, Subaru Forester, & was ready to sign on a Honda CRV. Somehow stumbled on the CMax & started researching it like crazy. Was only expecting to get high thirties for mpgs & have been pleasantly surprised with even better results.

Jeez... Jus You're killing me. Congrats!!! And to think I was patting myself on the back over a lousy 56 mpg. LOL

Not sure how / why premium gas would make any difference. Here's a quick read I just received from a Ford dealership today. My wife bought a brand new 1980 Mustang. Roof got scratched somehow on the transport truck. Dealer offered to repaint the roof & make it "good as new". Wife accepted it & was happy with it for about 5 years. After that the repaired area faded like crazy & stuck out like a sore thumb. Had to repaint the whole car. Was a great car, zero problems. Would never knowingly do it again on a brand new car unless the $$$ were heavily discounted. Of course paint & procedures / repairs have probably changed a lot since then.

AC UPDATE Original problem continues. When it decides to act up, I notice that the wife's phone doesn't connect when we get in & the big screen says the ac is off when the bottom panel says it's on. The bottom panel can be set for 68 deg & it doesn't blow cold. Could I need the 3.5..1 update too? Car was built in 04/13. How do you know what software version you're running?
