  1. I have a 2015 CMax Hybrid SE that I purchased in April. While everything else seems fine I have not been able to get a vehicle health report to complete. I have verified that I am registered at the Ford owners site and the same phone worked fine for vhr in the Fusion I traded in. I have removed that vehicle and registered the new one on the Ford site. When I tell the system to execute the report the screen tells me that it is configuring the system. After a few minutes of that the system changes the message to tell me that there is a vehicle data collection fault and that the report cannot be submitted at that time, try again later. The attached files are pictures of the messages. I have about 2300 miles on the car and do not have any kind of code scanner attached. I posted this issue on the sync forum about a month ago and Rebecca from Ford replied and got more info from me. She then told me that her support people are aware of the problem and that she would escalate my problem. I have not heard anything since then. I have not called the dealer yet because I am hoping to avoid putting it in the shop. Does anyone have any thoughts on getting this working? Thanks in advance.
  2. From OASIS, Feb. 16: SSM 44931 - Vehicle Health Report Inoperative with Aftermarket Device Plugged Into Data Link ConnectorSome 2008-2015 Ford/Mercury/Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC may exhibit a message indicating Vehicle Needs 200 Miles on it to perform a Vehicle Health Report (VHR). If this message is displayed, inspect for an aftermarket device that is plugged into the Data Link Connector (DLC). Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 418-00 Module Communications Network, Description and Operation. If an aftermarket device is found, do not perform a repair or attempt a module update as the device must be removed from the DLC for SYNC VHR to operate properly. After removing an aftermarket device, cycle the ignition key once and perform a short drive to update the odometer reading. If the SYNC VHR is still not operating properly, refer to the WSM, Section 415-00 Information and Entertainment System for diagnosis by DTC or symptom.
  3. Can anyone shed some light on what a VHR contains? I have no idea, and have yet to check out SyncMyRide. My hope would be for a detailed systematic report chocked full of great info on the car. Hoping that it is not a simple 'OK' document with just maintenance schedules and 'sales' in mind. Crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath. I assume that I can print it out if it is any good, and that I don't have to pony up money to see/get it. Nick
