thus allowing you to clean it every few weeks to remove the crud that accumulates down there over time.

For anyone not aware:  the two cupholders in the center console have a rubber mat at the bottom which can be removed by pulling up on the small tab located at the rear of said mat.

I like the weather map.  I call that one a hidden feature because I had no idea it was there until I read about it on this forum.  Afterwards, I went to the owners manual and couldn't find it in there.  Works like a champ, though.

How do you access the weather map?

How many use the little cubby hole in the very back for storage?

I use it.  I keep some tools, ratchet straps, and a small first aid kit back there.

We mostly use it for frozen/cold grocery items as it seems to be insulated. Like the idea about a first aid kit or emergency supplies.

The weather map is part of Sirius Travellink (sp?)

If and when you buy Sirius you have to ask them to include weather to get the weather map after your 6 month trial has run out. Weather is about $12.00 for year.

Best Hidden Feature we've found

We spent the day at the water park with the  :flirt: grandBRATS   yesterday.

Grandmother (Memaw) doesn't swim :headspin: ... almost will not take a tub bath.

It was HOT and she was miserable!

After an hour (102*) she was starting to "melt down."

She went to the Cmax, started it, rested and read for over an hour.

The ICE ran a little a few times...What a car :clapping: !

  • 2 weeks later...

My father found out about this today, while cleaning out the glove box in our C-Max. There's a clip on the lid that will hold a tire gauge, pen, or stylus.

Below are 2 pictures I took of the clip with a tire gauge.

That's exactly what I did. Thanks for the tip.
