I would bet the dealer honors the $750. My car is still sitting at the plant. At least I can say that my dealer basically did tell me that once it went TBD.

Yea!! Hopefully that will be the last fix you need. You seem to have had one of, if not the worst, issue with this. You've taken one for the team, and gave them more information to analyze to improve the cars!

We also have an Escape hybrid. That is mostly how I knew I wanted the C max. Didn't even consider anything else, well looked at Fusion hybrid.

I would, I will, and eventually I am. :) Ours is still at the plant waiting for a ride to bring it home. I agree with the later the build date the better. At this point, mine has all TSB's, updates, and etc. (that they know of, as of the day they built it). Since there is no changes for next model year, it will be almost like getting a 2014. Except I take a bigger hit on depreciation, which I am not worried about as we plan to keep it for a long time.

Based on the number of cars it says is effected, the same as the non-pano roof recall, I am guessing it's a typo. Wouldn't be the only typo in that short write up.

I want to do this on our car when it gets here. Since it is black, I wanna basically black out all the chrome. I just don't trust myself to do a good job(not a great DIY). Will probably have to pay someone to do it.

Fotomoto, your car looks great! How has it been holding up? Does this provide any protection from rock chips? I was looking at getting the 3m clear bra, and got quoted $700 to do the hood, grill, bumper, and headlights.

Same here. Drive a couple blocks you will see one for sure. Matter of fact, there is one in my driveway. Not for long though, I have to trade it in for Maximal. It's bittersweet for me.

No, have not signed anything yet. But I would sign before I left if they would let me. I really didn't think it was possible. Just wishful thinking. I have 3 ways to check for updates. I am rotating between the sources, but there has been no change since the day it was built last week. Madmanmoons' sat for a week before it found a ride, and was built a week before ours. I am just hoping :future: that it gets a ride here sometime this next week. Once it's on it's way I will be :woot: :clapping:

I was thinking about something today, dangerous territory I know. I am becoming more impatient everyday that I know our car is just sitting there with no change to status. I have some time off next week, and I could rent a car and be there in two days, back in another two. I could pick it up before they even put it on a train, yet alone the time it takes the train to get here. Anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to pick up a ordered car from Detroit? Rather than waiting for another month or so for it to arrive by rail? Anybody ever hear of someone doing this? I thought about asking the dealer this, but I don't want to look completely stupid, or desperate. I am thinking that it is just not done, and it would not be possible. But if it is, I would do it. I'd leave Tuesday night. :shift:

That's good news!! I stopped at dealer on way home from work. No change. Still at factory, still eta of TBD. I told them about you. How I ordered a week before you. That yours was built a week before mine. And that hopefully mine will be shipped a week after yours. He said he has seen the TBD date get held up for a month or two, even longer. I told him I don't think it will be though. Ford has seen a 400% increase in hybrid sales this year, and had a 1.2 billion dollar quarter. They just be busy! :spend: He just smiled. He also told me that they will have the bug shield, window vent visors, and windows tinted. :thumbsup:

I found one on a dealer lot that was built about a month before mine. I looked it up on Etis, and boom, there is the message for PCM. I guess I am getting one of the first ones of the line with it already done. :happy feet:

The box is green for me and contains the message "No Campaign Message(s) found". I am going to do a bit of research in a few minutes. I will have a very good idea of my answer before too long. It is looking like it is built into mine.

Well, that leads me to think mine might have it then. Now I just need to know if those things would show up on a car that is not yet in possession. Hmmmm...

Has this shown up on anyones ETIS? I have been able to see the detailed information for mine. It has said since day one, "No Campaign Message(s) found".
