That's odd. We did not buy the car local but were told by the local shop they would be happy to service us. It's a ford update so it's covered. They get paid by ford for doing this. I agree, those are problems that should be fixed by your dealer. Have you called ford? How far away do you have to drive to bring your car?? 150.00?? Yikes! Find a dealer that's closer. Most of them want to win your business. Good luck!

I am running out of dealers! My car was filthy when I got it back. Filthy. Rich went back in and told them to come clean the seats and the floor. There were fingerprints all over the doors and the hood. If I had someone vehicle for two months, I think I could have found time to clean it. I can see me handing in a chart to my boss with coffee stains!?!? I just wanted my baby back. I scrubbed it myself.

Adair asked about the battery because while it was in the dealerships possession the battery drained. They claimed something like the door must have been left ajar. Uh. No. It will time out and turn off. They had no other explanation. I had to call pop a lock to get the door open because I had not put the key in the fob. It was in the car and the car was dead. Once they changed the manifold they tested the battery to make sure it had not been damaged. So far so good.

They claim they checked it! So far so good. I sure missed my car.

I have tried and tried. No luck. I just enjoy the ride.

I was grinning like a teen who just got their license. Is it crazy to love my car this much?? Nahhhh. I know y'all can relate. I may have to drive her thru Starbucks for a treat on the way to work tomorrow.

RAINETTE IS HOME. It's like a new car all over again. I am happy.

When my husband goes action is taken. The part had to be made. It shipped/arrived the very next day. They told me it was a lengthy process to replace but hopefully by Friday! Cross your fingers. I think I will cry as I drive off the lot.

I thought I was the only one who matched the umbrella to her car! I have the auto pop up and down. Love it!!

Got mine yesterday. Louisiana. My dad got his the day before me and a friend got hers before that.

I found out today that my part hasn't even shipped out. To day I am disappointed is an understatement.

Craziness?? I figured you were swamped at work. What's new???

Still no car. Part was due to arrive sept 24. Nope. It was SHIPPED sept 24. I called Monday and it still had not arrived. They received a letter on Friday saying it was shipped. I have called ford several times and left voicemails. No calls returned. It has now been over a month. I am losing faith.

I agree! People forget to be real and that does not mean rude or mean.

Hahahaha. I have three kids. I can assure you if you tell them NOT to open the door they will try it. Then claim they were testing it for you. I understand what you really mean. I think we all teach our kids thing like do not open the doors while the car is in motion, but it still needs to be fixed.
