I felt this way too when I first got my car. All day running around, never needing a key until I got home. Then I had to locate it in the bottom of my purse.

Yes, I am! I bought my car in Texas. It is currently at a dealer in Sulphur. I am in Lake Charles. What part of the state are you in? Do you post on the cmax page on Facebook? I thought I saw another cmax owner from a small town out east. Neat to meet another from LA. Me, my dad, a good friend of mine, and a total stranger have cmaxs here in town. I saw the stranger getting gas the other day and I was pressed for time or I would have pulled in to chat. You know how us Cajuns are! Never meet a stranger.

Hubby and I ride our motorcycles when we can. It's too hot for me. Hurry up Fall! We have a camp about 45 miles away and try to go there often. Always tractor work to do and lounging. Guess who does the tractor work and guess who lounges. No cable at the camp so I read. I have a few friends who get together regularly. Dinner, movies, coffee, whatever we are in the mood for. We recently bought a food dehydrator. I have enjoyed that. The kids scoffed at first but the youngest left a note recently saying she loved the dried apples and we needed more lol Today is mom/daughter day. We are doing some shopping, pedis, then I have a baby shower to attend.

Lol laurel. It's just sad we have to fight for what should be rightfully ours. They were very nice and gave me a direct number if I had problems. Biplane. Yes! It's awkward and the braking is jerky and it revs! Well, those are due to the driver. Lolol. The sound system is amazing.

I have to agree. They were much more helpful with my husband. I guess I should have gone to the dealer but I have to work. The dealer we purchased it from told me their hands were tied because I didn't have the extended warranty. Extended?? I haven't made it to the first yr with the car. Then she told me she didn't have a car available to loan me even IF they were able. Really? That makes no sense. If I had the extended warranty you would magically have a car? This is the reason I called ford myself. We had the car towed and they have to bring it to the nearest dealer. That's why it's here in town. Which I am glad. I can pop over easier. Thankfully ford came thru for me.

The dealer where I bought the car told me their hands were tied when it came to a loaner. Really? Thankfully, my car is at a local dealer and they seem a little more willing. It took me calling ford customer service and requesting a car before it got rolling. I have had to followup several times before it actually happened. I don't think anyone believes in customer service.

EV+ kicks in after you have been to the same location X times. I don't recall how many times. I do know if I am in town and get close to my office the EV+ kicks in. I am not sure how many locations it remembers.

Exactly! The car has less than 6k miles and is less than 7 months old. I wasn't expecting a loaded vehicle, just comparable to my cmax. And your going to keep my car for almost a month!? Seems like a no brainer to me.

Exactly salsa. Thanks Ron. He let me drive his car for a week. I put my foot down with ford and requested they give me a loaner. Why should I put miles on dads car? Why put him out? This is a brand new car. This shouldn't have happened. It did and ford has been very kind. I appreciate them helping me out. Besides, dad needed his car to go on a trip. :)

My loaner is a Toyota corolla. Red. Dark windows. It's no cmax but its okay. I finally got it at 6pm! Feels very strange to drive a non hybrid. I feel like I am jerky while going down the road. The did put a rush on my part but it still shows sept 24. Oh well. At least I have a loaner! Definitely getting the xtended warranty.

Has everyone been happy with the headliner upgrade? I am not. I can now stick my finger between the liner and the front glass. Along the back window on the sides it seems there should be some trim to hold it in place. Seems it will start sagging. It no longer tucks in or wraps around the edges. Anyone else?

It's been a hassle to get a loaner. I had to call customer service. I didn't buy the extended warranty. Crazy that they wouldn't loan me a car with it expected to take a month just to get the part in! On a brand new car to boot. I must say, once my case was reviewed ford agreed to loan me a car. Supposed to get it tomorrow. Will keep you updated.
