Busy gearing up for the daughters wedding. Work. Work. Work. Got thd pool summer ready. Dinner with friends. Family. Work. Trips to the camp. Wedding. Work. Hanging with a friend riding in her new cmax! Talking cars. Work. Sometimes I sleep. Hahahaha. Oh. And walking. After walking in the heat I am drained. Then its shower and bed and start all over. Oh. And work. Haha. It's hoooot here. My average is down and my trip mpg is down. But I refuse to be hot to save some miles.

I have discovered Sirius all over again and I am loving it. You can set an alert on a song and when that sing is playing in other channels it will send an alert. You then have thd option to listen to the sing, cancel or edit your alerts. There is also replay. It's like TiVo for the car. You can listen again and again to what you have recorded.

I swear I hear wind noise too. I have hunted on the drivers door and found nothing. Will check out the passenger door!

Rainette is filthy but you would not know it. She hides her dirt well hahahaha. I so need to wash her soon. The last rain shower helped wash some of the dust off. Love the ice storm.

I have this problem too. By lowering the direction of air I am almost closing the vent. I found the passenger vent turned my way helps greatly.

This happened to me. Then I realized the temp outside and the temp inside were too close. I think I pushed the auto button. Once I turned the thermostat down the air was cold.

I think you are referring to my noise problem? Let me check my seals! Is this on the front? Mine has chrome under them and the seals are stuck down tight.

i don't know what you mean by installing? It just slips into place and they fold up for storage. It helps keep the sun from drying out your dash and the steering wheel from being so hot. I also have a steering wheel cover because it just gets so darn HOT here. Tinting is next on my list. We have had an usually long springtime.. but that is quickly fading. The 100+ temps will be here before we know it. blah

I bought the super size window shades from Walmart. I have to put them up and down instead of across.

At first it was fun, a game. Then it seemed to nose dive. Like you I was trying so hard. Maybe too hard? Could be so many factors - temp, gas, road, your foot, ac, etc. enjoy the car and I am sure next tank will be better!

Armored, I am at 2700+ miles and my battery reaches that same level. I don't remember when it started, but for a long time it didn't get that full. Maybe I was forcing it into EV mode too soon.

Oh yes! I showed him how to set his own temp. :). I don't make him take a blanket in the car hahahaha. I just thought it was interesting to see the consumption of the ac. It was no more than "other" once the car was cooled and the fan on low. I did notice with using the recirc it dropped it considerably.

My little experiments arent complex and were for my own knowledge. I set up My View to show me the climate usage. There was talk on the boards about whether or not running the ac at a warmer temp with the fan higher used more/less than running the ac colder with a low fan. Once the car was cool it didn't change consumption of you increased the fan. I hopped in the car with the auto ac on and the fan was full force blowing and yikes the consumption was high. Once the car cooled and the fan decreased the consumption went waaay down. I am trying to find a good temp to run the car at. Hubby was cold. I thought there was a setting for your own personal climate temp and you could tell the car to be set at that. I didn't see it on the touch screen. I will have to poke around. Granted its not full summer yet. But it was nice to know I wouldn't have to sweat to still get great gas mileage. I like the auto feature but I don't like that blowing fan on high. Too loud. I would prefer to use a lower fan and wait but I think cooling it down quickly is nice for all occupants on a hot day in Louisiana. What do you set your temp on?

I hear the whistle with the window down. With the window up I can hear what sounds like air draft.

Maybe it already has?
