  1. My Prius owner Daughter doesn't like it either! :lol2:  Paul
  2. I'm curious if you notice a MPG difference between the two CMAX's and anything else. :) Paul
  3. You using Premium? Grill Covers? You will have no problem getting 600mi. :) Paul
  4. No, I didn't notice anything I checked my oil level and it hasn't changed for 8600 ICE miles, still medium brown. :) Hope you get your car back soon. I don't consider price a factor if you only do it once, if it works. :) And again I made trips on the Atlanta FWY's yesterday and today averaging 55mpg for 250mi. Temps were 45-55*F and the funny thing is I was improving my FE over what I had before I got on the FWY. My current average on this tank is 55.5mpg for 508mi, my fifth tank after using NOS Octane Booster. :) Paul
  5. You can contact our FORD SERVICE REP., Meagan give her your information and she will help you get your problems solved. :) Paul
  6. Something is not right in the linkage adjustment. ;) We talked about this on High Transmission Temperature in General Discussion Post # 89. :) Paul
  7. Not really. LOL Promise yourself that this tank i'm going to get 600 miles before you put gas in the tank and then just do it. You already proved to yourself with the spread sheet that you could have gotten 600 mi. on every single tank! This sounds like a therapy session, LOL What are you afraid of ? You are not going to run out of gas. :) I want to see your name on the list. :yahoo: Paul
  8. Two to three minutes every time I get the "system off to save battery" very annoying. I was reading 12.4-12.7 volts with my plugin digital meter. ;) I think this happened after FORD replaced the Audio Module, they fixed something that wasn't broken. :drop: I guess I will have to ask FORD to explain this. ;) Paul
  9. Scott the most you ran your tank down to is 10.7 gallons, Give me a break not run on empty type on guy. LOL You could have gone over a +100 miles farther, I will guaranty that you can go 30 miles past E0 without running out of gas. It looks like all your tanks you could gone 600 miles and 4 you could have gone 700 miles. ;) Like Marc said when you get close bring a small gas can and then you don't have to worry about it. For Me I have wasted time if I put less than 12 gallons in a tank, I think half of my tanks are over 13 gallons. LOL :) Paul
  10. I didn't find any testing been done on it. Looking forward to hearing of your results. :) Paul
  11. I'm not liking the way this is going. :swear: Did you get the plugs and fuel pump? Post a Life Time Pic, I will Post it on my Life Time Thread. :shift: :) Paul
  12. I have the same mileage and was wondering how many ICE miles you have on it. I have 57.5K ICE mi. on mine. They should be good for 100K ICE miles, make sure you get the plugs to see what they look like. ;) Paul
  13. Winter blend is more like 2% decrease in MPG's. Link: http://www.bellperformance.com/blog/bid/49483/Fuel-Mileage-Dropping-Blame-The-Winter-Blend-Gasoline. Here is a link to Octane Booster Testing: http://www.lotusmarques.com/info/technical/29-general/723-octane-boosters-do-they-really-work. Practically speaking anything cheaper than +$10 is just cleaning the injectors. I did call STP to find out about their Octane Booster and they said it had Jet Fuel in it like that was a good thing. I Laughed :lol2: . They didn't know what Jet Fuel is so I told them it is Diesel with an additive to keep the Diesel from jelling at low temperatures. :) Paul
  14. I think you have a point there, My daughter has 2012 and I wasn't excited about it either. I don't like the straight lines on the front. It will be interesting to see what CR gets for FE. :) Paul
  15. Summit Racing is $12.99, O'Riley's, NAPA and Advanced Auto $14.99. I thought I got it at Walmart for around $10 about 2 months ago. ;) I'm sure injector cleaning could make a difference, but last time in used Tectron Injector Cleaner and it didn't make a difference. The nagging question is why am I getting better HWY FE for a month, than I have ever gotten, 112K mi. Total , weird! ;) Paul
  16. After using NOS Octane Booster Racing Formula a month ago and five fillups later my HWY FE has increased 2-4 MPG. It doesn't appeared to improve City MPG much. This morning I went to the Atlanta Airport and back on I-85, about 70 miles, Temp 56*F with some light rain. Speeds were between 80mph and 60mph most of the time and averaged close to 56 MPG, then when you add in the loss of 3 mpg from outside temp of 56*F + light rain it just makes it that much more amazing. I'm wondering if the ICE computer learned to run more efficient after using NOS Octane Booster. :headscratch: It would be interesting to see if anyone else can duplicate my HWY MPG improvement by filling up with Premium and adding a bottle of NOS Octane Booster. It is available at Walmart and most Auto Parts Stores for $10-$15. :shift: :) Paul PS My HWY MPG is almost as high as CITY MPG.
  17. We should send a suggestion to FORD for an air bag for the front of our cars to protect them. LOL :) Paul
  18. I don't remember anyone posting about their wheels getting stolen, I don't remember a CMAX getting stolen!LOL :) Paul
  19. I think it came on at 10K mi. and I turned it off. It should be coming on again soon that I'm approaching 20K mi. Mobil 1's TV ADD's say upto 15K miles on an Oil Change so 10K isn't pushing the envelope much. I already have 112K mi. Total /56K ICE miles with no Oil usage. :) Paul
  20. What year? To me that is very low mileage to be having problems. I thought the lowest mileage CMAX's to have Trans problems was around 35K HWY miles. ;) Paul
  21. Sorry to hear about your accident and glad you are OK. Did they do a good job fixing your CMAX? Probably the first one they have seen.LOL :) Paul
  22. Just did another 700 mi. tank fillup, but only 235 ICE miles for a total of 8663 ICE mi. on this oil change. At this rate I'll need to 5 more fillups and about 3500 mi. more before I will have 10K ICE miles. So total miles should be 23.5K miles. WOW! :shift: :) Paul P.S. My Life Time EV% is close to 50%, maybe by the time I change my Oil and Filter.
  23. We need a air bag for the front of our Cars. LOL :drop: Wait a minute, an animal detector that blasts aloud horn to scare them away. Paul
