Hey there it’s Mike (a.k.a. Maxus) in CA, I’m trying to fix a problem I’m having with my right rear running lights not lighting. Neither the lens on the tailgate or the one on the right rear fender. However the right brake light works and so does the turn signal. Also the backup light works. I wanted to check the fuses but I’m not sure where they are?

Paul is it possible to still check/get your life time score when you regularly reset the miles with each tank of gas? Was hoping they added up as you go along, sort of like the odometer reading increases with every mile driven.

I watched the trailer and I never saw enough of the car to convince me that it was a CMax. One scene wear Katherine Heigl is sitting in the drivers seat with a camera. The rear view mirror doesn't look right and also where the front fender meets the A Pillar just looks wrong to me.

Maxis is still running on the factory rotors and brakes with 69k miles. Second set of tires but same brakes and rotors.

Was just down at the dealer where I bought Maxus in September of 2012. Was checking out the new Titanium Model the 2017's are available with. Like the new polished wheels, but what really caught my eye was Ford finally put Daylight Running Lights built into the bottom portion of the headlight assembly. The headlight assembly is basically the same shape and size as my 2013 however the assembly has DRL's and is adapted with different different light bulb sections. Does anyone know if the assembly can be adapted to my 2013? I would imagine there is different wiring for the DRL's to work and come on during the daylight hours. I also want the rear window air deflectors on either side of the vertical edges of the glass. I've checked with my dealers parts department and there doesn't seem to be a part listing for the deflectors. My guess is they are part of the rear glass assembly only. Not really going to happen but I'm thinking I'd like to trade Maxis in for a new Titanium version. I also want the Apple Carplay which is included in the new cars.

If you can live with the factory wheels? Plasti-dip is a great alternative, I did mine and they hold up real well

I'm wondering if anyone has upgraded to the latest release of software for the navigation? Seems like Ford wanted $100 for it. Should be free to all owners as upgrades are available. There are allot of new streets in my area, I'd like to be able to find them when needed.

Ok but I still don't know how to replace my fobs battery

Maxus was ordered by the dealer with full 303a package, moon roof included which I never would have ordered

I need to ask if anyone with keyless ignition has changed the battery in the key fob? Maxus is getting hard to start sometimes, batteries are the originals since I took delivery in September of 2013. Thanks in advance

Drive-in's do not exist anymore in my area so its not an issue but now that you mention it that would be a pain if I was a regular customer of drive-in's.

I've thought about moving over to Tesla, but the cost keeps driving me away. I see all Tesla models by the hand full everyday since I live only 10 miles from the factory

Maxius has this weird condition which crops up every so often then disappears for a month or so. What happens is this...I park in the garage with a near full charge on the instrument gauge, then next morning or next time I push start, Maxius immediately cranks up the engine with an earth shaking rattle because the battery is completely drained or near to it. For some reason there is a drain on the battery just sitting in the garage. I've never taken it to the dealer for fear of opening a bigger can of worms.

I really like this wheel www.hrewheels.com/wheels/forged, however at a cost $1500 per wheel it will never be found on Maxius. My Plasti-dip coating will have to do.

Maxius is still running on the factory brakes @ almost 70k miles. Got new tires last March since the center tread had wore too close to the wear indicator.

I thought production had already moved to Mexico? Very sad decision on Ford's part if I do say so.

I've been wanting some sort of rear spoiler for the back tailgate and anybody who has been on this forum for any length of time knows I have attempted to construct my own design rear spoiler but with no success since I don't have the means to build a working negative mold in which to make a positive from. I totally agree with scottwood2 that "Many people want a unique car and would help people do just that". I love what he has done to his stealthy CMax.
