Welcome to San Fran ;) I use to live in Burlingame and trust me when I say, the people in LA is WAY more friendlier. May be its because we get more sunshine here.

I decided I'll buy into these Gas Pods, jus submitted my fuelly miles and got my discount. It going to be TOUGH to beat those numbers, especially with the cold weather here now. To give you an idea, the same route, I would be finish with 62-64MPG and the last 2 days (due to a winter storm), an ABSYMAL 58MPG. It been a cool 55F - 62F. I figure, if I make the same numbers, I would be true-blue believer but I have to admit, I am coming in from a very skeptical point of view but the cost is no big deal to me...kinda casino, you may win or you may lose but walk in there know you will lose but intelligently trying to double you money. LOL, in this case, if I get $1 back from my $20 bill, that would be good... :yahoo: ... :baby:

Yep, GPS module is kaput, no TSB is going to fix that so I had Ford/Galpin just replace the GPS module. Been SWEET since. It sounds like the OP is in some buy back state. Correct us if we're wrong...

Wow...a lot of late night posters, huh ;) LEDs to me, seemed clearer than the incandescence...but less warmth. For those who don't know, picture less yellow, more "white" but add in the sharpness like a HD TV. LEDs are expensive...these better not burn or quit on me. 3 yr guarantee apparently. CFLs drive me nutz...I have those in the office. Ugh. LED FTW :rockon:

So tonight the wifey went down to Costco and loaded up with 14 LED can bulbs for the main areas where we predominantly use the lights, aka the kitchen, dining, stairway. Damn - these LEDs are bright. They say it will last 20+ years but we shall see... We did not do the whole house as those can incandescent, we hardly use. Crap...I am turning into a bloody greenie. CMax. LED bulbs, whats next...a whole usb thumb drive of Barbara Streisand's Greatest Hits :gaah: & :redcard: Anyone else on this LED bandwagon....?

The hood seal should be easy, I am surprised no one has come up with some clear plastic seal...if we can seal the doors, why not the hood...yeah, yeah, temps/heat...smeat. Thats right with the other non-modded 600+ Mile Club members...Matt did some huge numbers before aero mods and he's still pushing the 700+ every tank just doing everyday driving like the rest of us, frbill, seth and many others as well. I have to let loose sometimes...hence my mid 600 tanks but I think I am keeping up with the Jones with my wee 3 x 800+ tanks, etc. Jus takes me longer to do my tanks cause I don't drive as far, like I use to...which is good. Aero modding adds more fun though, jus imagine the more miles....if you have the talent, money and skill to do it..ala Matt :)

LOL, thanks....next time jus say I am completely unskilled with a screwdriver, a drill and don't even think about getting me near a hobby knife... :drop: I think bottom line, as much as I luv the MPGs, I just like a "normal" car with no plastic covers or missing mirrors. However....if I had the money, I would give my CMax to the Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) boyz in Van Nuys....Nick...you should see some of the work these guys do. They could do a side-mirrorless setup and do my car in a complete black stealth...complete with a lower carbon fibre scoop & molding....make my Maxine look like a F-117 stealth fighter, complete with the hard edging deturbulators. I haven't got into the interior yet. That would be my dream car..and it would prolly cost as much. *sigh* time to wake up.... Yeah. PS I am considering toying with these Gas Pods but I am not pulling the trigger yet. I don't really need it for my daily driving but where I think it will be much more effective is for my Mammoth or long trips when I go at freeway speeds. Still mulling....

Sometimes after an update it may help to delete the old BT link and rehook it up. I have an S4 and it doesn't do that. However, with texting, it will upload to the card to read until such time you delete them. Sorry, not much help but lets see if someone else has seen this....

Funny enuf, I have yet to talk to ANY CMax owners except those at the survey thing last weekend and I was incognito too.... Now Prii owners, I think I talked to about 3 of 'em thus far. They luv their cars too...which is to be expected. I guess we're all like football fans....a lot of luv & rivalry at same time.

Neither could I. However, these mirrors are like air brakes. The faster we go, the more "breaking effect" it has, I suspect. If I had a way to remove them, I would but I am not a tinkerer like Matt. I think the approach by Tesla with the side mirror-less is the way of the future. We have the tech to do it but I guess these giant car makers figure it cost an arm and a leg to do it right in a hybrid - thats why it takes a small specialist company like Tesla to show how its done. After all, even their "ipad" in the interior even has me swooning and goo-goo-gah-gahing. @Matt - any chance for some pictures?

I think the person did...I thought I saw the person glancing up the rear view mirror as I took a picture...who knows, maybe this person might wander here. Yeah...the feathering is tough, took me a while to get used to it....its different for everyone. Once you get it, it makes a world of difference. Last CMax I saw, I was driving side by side with my window down and it was amusing to hear her EV running (almost silent) along with mine. Different CMax though and it was like 3 months ago.

Ebb and flow, thanks for the stats Nick. When the 2014s come out, watch the sales go up....these 14s are going to kill the 13s. Be like getting my hypermiling MPGs while driving like Adair.... :drop: ...(its a joke ;)...I was going to use mtb but he may kick my a$$ since last time... )
