  1. I got a letter from GM telling me about OnStar and to just push my blue OnStar button to activate my free trial. I'm pretty sure my C-Max didn't come with OnStar. Still trying to figure this one out, I've never owned a GM vehicle before. :headscratch:
  2. Yeah, I assumed that. I didn't know it would turn on in the first place.
  3. I didn't know I had automatic REAR wipers. This morning when backing out of the garage it was raining and as soon as the rain hit the windshield turned on, but the rear wiper turned on with it. As soon as I switched from Reverse to Drive it turned off. Anybody else notice this or am I delirious?
  4. That's true. I didn't say I agreed w/ him, just trying to find an explanation, lol.
  5. The only explanation that I can think of is washing the underside is done with pressure, where as with rain, there is no pressure.
  6. Before we jump all over them, they did say: "We are aware of the problem but do not have a solution as of yet" I don't see any blaming of customers and it looks that they are trying to find a solution. Maybe their characterization of the issue doesn't cover everyone's situation (short drives, etc), but it's still probably a issue.
  7. Routes are not EV+ the location is. By my experience, it seems to be a half-kilometer radius. Once you enter that radius, EV+ kicks in.
  8. The mobile site used to work, but yeah I checked it yesterday and no bueno.
  9. Take a look at this: http://www.fuelly.com/faq/23/Fuelly-forum-signature-badge
  10. It's available if you don't have MFT but normal Sync.
  11. After fixing the hearts, you probably need to make sure you re-download the phonebook into the car. When you resync'd the phone is that what you were referring to? You could also completely delete the phone from the car and re-pair it.
  12. There is not a modem in the Hybrid, only in the Energi. They all have GPS receivers though, but for some reason, you are only able to sync your time to the GPS if you have the navigation package installed.
  13. That's not true. The MFT software also has to be updated and this is by taking a USB thumb drive with the update and inserting into the car. The dealer does the same thing (AFAIK) by taking it to them. If you have NAV, you need the A4 card when you get the new mft update. Otherewise, you need the A3 card.
  14. When they are set to "on" in either the slower or faster position, my moving the entire wiper stalk up (not just turning the knob which sets the sensitivity for auto-wipers or timeout for intermittent wipers depending on if you have a sel or se respectively).
  15. All it is is speeding up the normal EV+ operation. The car keeps track of where it is when it shuts down (or maybe starts up) and once it sees enough (apparently around 10) it stores that as a EV+ location.
  16. The C-Max does not have separate rear controls like other vehicles such as the Explorer. Nor does it have a booster fan for the rear. It's just tied to the dash vents.
  17. Anyone here try this? http://accessories.ford.com/net-asy-load-fixing-10344.html
  18. Deep Impact Blue, its a color that Ford offers on some vehicles, like the Fusion.
  19. I believe you can get it FedEx'd too.
  20. Here's a thought. I've heard of some people who's clock in the cars were set to AM when it should have been PM and vice-versa. Is yours correct?
  21. Try "Destination Home". No need to say Navigation. You can do this for all favorites for which you have enabled a voice tag.
  22. New C-Max's coming off the line have the update and the new card. It's just not available yet for updating afterwards. The navigation card version is tied to the MFT version of the software.
  23. Did you by any chance switch between the different FMs, or maybe between AM to FM. That works for me.
  24. The rubber ones are part of the interior protection package. Includes a rubber liner for the cargo area as well. From Ford website they cost 170, so good deal if you got it for free! Also, relevant info from manual:
  25. Using the Left Steering Wheel controls, choose Settings > Vehicle > Lighting > Auto Light Rain I can't say I've noticed the indicator come on when it rains. Maybe when I wash the car, I'll give it a test.
