  1. I've gone to the Ford website on two different browsers on same computer and get a different "featured picture". Even after clearing browser caches. I wonder if they are doing something like this: http://arstechnica.com/staff/2012/06/orbitz-to-mac-users-give-us-the-money/
  2. AFAIK if you have auto-wipers, you have no intermittent wipers. The knob/wheel is instead used to set the sensitivity of the auto-wipers.
  3. I don't understand your comment regarding chains. Some members here have put chains on: http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/index.php?/topic/805-let-is-snow-let-it-snow-let-it-snowcmax-at-mammoth-lakes-ca/ Also, I understand the gripe about no spare tire, but I don't understand what ford is supposed to do about it. Where are they supposed to put a spare?
  4. You don't happen to have remote start do you? Mine was very inconsistent after I had my remote start switched because they had conflicting signals with the old one. Long shot, but just a thought.
  5. Mine will come on high when its 80 degrees outside, of course to try to cool it off quicker. Although something tells me you guys are talking more about warming the car then cooling it down....
  6. Is that the piece that goes over the back legs of teh front seats? I didn't have that, sounds like the dealer missed the checklist.
  7. No it does not use any data services. I had that problem too and just reran the report, worked the second time.
  8. I picked up my car in less than an hour, signing papers and all. Guess it depends on the dealer and how hard they try to sell you the extended warranty, etc.
  9. I'm pretty sure we won't see her for at least a week. :shift:
  10. I put my umbrella in the door pocket.
  11. i added a poll to try to get a consensus for those who have had the problem. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/index.php?/topic/1294-for-those-who-have-had-12v-battery-problems/

  14. Please post in the poll only if you have had a 12v battery problem. Let's see if we can get a consensus. Edit: Added more months.
  15. Oh yeah, I think I misread your original post and what you were getting at. Oops.
  16. To expand upon this, when the car is off, a relay opens, and electrically disconnects the High Voltage Battery from the rest of the system. The 12v battery is needed to close this relay.
  17. I would assume the messages appear similarly to the parking brake, fuel low, door ajar, etc. messages and just overlay right on top of whatever your doing.
  18. I drive throughout South Scottsdale to Mesa and have only seen one other one.
  19. I think they want to just do a slow and steady rollout Don't want anything like massive recalls they had to do to the Escape, etc.
  20. The Forward sensing system, are what ford calls the proximity sensors on the front of the vehicle. You can get the rear ones in other packages for the car.
  21. Looks like one of the most helpful things is it gives exact voltage of the 12v system. May help diagnose some of those problems?
  22. To clarify, you only get the Forward Sensing System if you have Active Park Assist.
