Welcome, I have a 2014 sel too, it's been a great car.
-
I keep mine on auto but turn it off when I don't need it. The ice is going to run when it's cold and you start the car so you might as well heat the cabin.
-
I had a 2004 Focus ztw, I loved that car. You could haul a lot in it.
-
I've had the "spaceship" for four years! Most dependable vehicle I've ever owned.
-
Isn't the Ford fix a flat $40 dollars?
-
You might as well go 80mph, it makes no difference as you will still be in the 38 to 40 mpg range. These cars get their best mpg's between 30 and 55 mph.

Welcome, some of us aren't leaving anytime soon. I wanted the Kona Blue but my wife liked the Ice Storm so that's what we have.
-
Same with us, our car is almost four but it just hit 36,000 miles.
-
Damn.

While you get higher mpg's with higher octane the cost difference isn't worth it. In my case I realized a 40 to 60 miles to a tank but spent about ten dollars extra.
-
The Focus Active Hybrid, when it hits next year, should be a better vehicle than the C-max. Word is it should have mpg's in the mid fifties.
-
According to my buddy at Ford the only vehicles written in stone for 2020 are the Mustang and the Truck line, if this thing with Turkey gets any worse the Trans connect will be gone by January. The Ecosport comes from China and he says it might make it two years.
-
Our C-MAX is a 2014 with 35,000 miles on it and we've decided to wait until after the next presidential election before buying a new car. That's longer than I want to keep the car but with the unstable economic situation I think that's the best move.

Last time I was at the dealership they told me that they not only didn't have any they couldn't get any.
-
It's the same here in Indiana, flat as a pancake.
-
It takes about 5,000 miles to really get used to the car and to break it in. Welcome BTW.
-
35,000 on my 2014

We bought the extended warranty, five years. Have you driven a Ecosport? It's very narrow without much room. As for the Niro if you want one with all the options the mpg is low forties.
-
Oh, and the Focus Active in the fall of next year, that's what I'm waiting on. Supposed to be really good mpg on this, mid fifties.
-
My friend in corporate said to expect the Escape and Transit Connect in the dealerships next March.
-
My dealer has none in stock.

He wasn't sure if there's a redesign but he did say they are being made at the Louisville KY plant.
