    My buddy at Ford told me Monday that the Escape Hybrid is due in the showroom in March of 2019.

    I owned a 1963 Chevrolet Nova and the flywheel broke and the only place I could find a new one was Chevrolet. It was 37 years old at the time.

    I test drove one and thought that it's a lot smaller inside, absolutely no leg room in back and it's rated 29 hwy.

    Electricity is really expensive here in Indiana. I've calculated that gas would have to be more than six dollars a gallon before electricity would be cheaper.

    My 2014 has been the most trouble free vehicle I've ever owned, two recalls and three oil changes and it still looks and drives like new.

    I live in Indianapolis and my life mpg is 41.9 and I can do better than 40 year round. My average trip to the store is in the 50s.

    I was talking with a buddy who works for Ford who told me that the A8 is the end of the line, don't expect any updates.

    I haven't seen a car since the eighties that didn't have the AC compressor run for defrost.

    Yesterday when I got home from the gym I threw my workout clothes in the washer and got dressed for dinner. I realized that my keys were still in my pants and the washer was full of water, panic sat in, but they came through it unscathed. I was pleasantly surprised.

    The knob and button are for changing the interior lighting, play with it after dark.

    I expiramented with higher octane fuel and found better mpg's, not enough to justify the cost imo, but no increase in porformance, if that helps. There's no reason to think that you can't get ten years out of this vehicle.

    They claim the Accord hybrid gets 55mpg, my best buddy is getting ready to buy one, on my advice, let's see how it goes.

    Central Indiana gets its share of snow and I've never had a problem but I'm a "old" and have been driving since 1976. I don't get the oil change thing either.
