Wow!!! I thought my 20 miles ( 40 round trip) was bad. At least I can stay on the back roads in EV most of the way.

Oil change in the first 1000 miles a good idea. That will drain out any dirt and metal filings left from the engine block machining process.

I ordered mine with remote start. Don't know if the factory will install it or the dealer. I know the dealer can install it afterwards

Can't wait to get my car and make me some cool wallpapers. I'm a graphic designer and have Adobe Suite 6 on my computer. I wonder if they will give everyone access to change the voice in MFT. I was thinking of making the voice of the cylons on the original Battlestar Galactica and put a pic of a base ship on the screen. Of course I would have to figure out how to change the greeting from PLEASE SAY A COMMAND to BY YOUR COMMAND. LOL

Done! I know a great voice for my silver SEL. The cylon from the original Battlestar Galactica. I would have to change the greeting from PLEASE SAY A COMMAND to BY YOUR COMMAND and put a picture of the cylon helmet on my touch screen. LOL

Congrats on ordering your new C Max. I am like you, I waited 3 months watching reviews and this forum before I decided to order mine. I'm hoping for delivery by Memorial Day. I would like to go to Michigan for the national C Max owners get together at ford motor company this summer.

Mine will go past my house on its way to Tennessee and then head back north for delivery. Just reallized you ordered an SEL same as me. Might get mine built around the same time as yours. They will have the factory tooled up to bulid SEL's in March. :) Hoping I'm right

I order mine a few days ago. I was hoping for delivery by Memorial day. Now hearing this I might not get it until July. From what I hear after the cars are built they get shipped to a distrubution center in Tenn. before going on to the dealerships. Bet you wont sleep for a month expecting a call that your car is ready for pick up. Congrats

Already feeling the anticipation myself. I've had my current car since the 911 attacks. Can't believe the all the bells and whistles that the C Max has for about the same price I paid 12 years ago.(with over DOUBLE the gas milage :wub2:) Hope the get together in Michigan happens. That would be awsome. 100+ C max's convoying down the road. What a site that will be.

I've noticed that gas is starting to go up to. I'm hoping for delivery of mine by Memorial Day when they will really raise the gas prices. Bet you haven't slept since finding out your car is coming soon. Hope I get my in time for the national get together in Dearborn. I'm just a few hours DRIVE from there.(in my c max) yea !!!
