I've had my baby for about a month now and still loving to drive it everyday. I had to order mine, did you? There are very few on the lots around here and when there is one it is sold quickly. I've seen 3 so far on the road ( a silver Energy and 2 ruby red 1 SE and 1 SEL)

Shaners I know the feeling. Winter just doesn't want to go away. :sad: My lifetime average is only 37.2 mpg. sounds terrible but it has a lot to do with the cold and waiting for the ICE to warm up. My trips of 35 miles one way to work are mostly freeway at 70. I get 38.5 mpg going to work temps in upper 20's and get 42.1 on the drive home with temps in the 40's, so hang in there it can only get better from here.( I have less than 600 miles on my car Just filled up the second tank)

Just filled up. On my second tank now so not much to report besides lifetime average. Driving into work today lifetime average creeped up to 37.1. The trip at 30 degrees got 42.1 mpg at 65mph for 85% of the trip.(35 miles one way) Not doing too bad so far. I bet it gets better on the drive home with temp of 45 degrees. Wish spring would come to Ohio so I could see the big numbers.

Double lock also activates the alarm system. That is what the single honk means

I only have a little over 500 miles on mine. I drive 75% freeway driving 65mph. Temps in the 20's and 30's. My average is 36.9 and slowly going up. I just had a 10 mile trip on a 2 lane highway 55 mph. Got 47.1 mpg for the trip at 51 degrees. Expect to get big boost in mpg's as temps go up.

I had the amber lights stay on for me once. Found out that it was the back hatch wasn't shut tight. Opened and slammed it and no lights on.

Glad to hear that you found the C Max. I also test drove a Prius to see how they were. Didn't, like the dash layout and the slow exceleration. The C Max has them beat hands down. I had the same thing happen with my ABS in non hybrid. The mechanic said that low voltage in modern cars cause lots of problems. ABS,transmission shifts, even the engine. He said that cars rely on the battery for everything. The battery only has 12 volts the run everything and when it gets week the electronics start doing crazy things. There are a lot of bells and whistles in these cars and maybe we have finally reached the limits of the 12 volt battery.

Just got mine done. I have 20% all the way around. Still drying and looks smooth and clear of bubbles. Had my previous car tinted also 12 years ago. Never have a bubble in it

I don't carry a lot of stuff in mine to keep weight down. (Better mpg). I have a jumper battery pack and an umbrella in the back cargo area. I keep my iPod and charger for my cell phone in the center armrest. I keep my insurance card and registration in the clip on the underside of the center armrest top. Have my owners manual and a note pad in the glove box with a pen clipped on the glove box door

I drive 35 miles one way to work mostly freeway 65 mph. Just drove into work and got 36.4 mpg with temp of 27 degrees. On the drive home got 42.1 mpg temp was 41degrees. I have just over 400 miles on her now. I should get the mid to upper 40's when it gets warm outside easily.

I was leaving work today in downtown Coumbus and what do I see, a ruby red C Max driving by. :shift: I was with a guy from work and I pointed it out to him. He hasn't seen a C Max before. That's 3 I've seen since picking mine up 2 weeks ago. :yahoo:

If your getting 303 package you should have push button start with smart access. No keys just a thob to carry with you. Grab the door handle and all doors unlock. Swipe your finger over a touch pad beside the lock to lock the doors or use the button on the thob. 1 push locks 2 pushes locks and activates the alarm system.

My baby was getting cleaned and tinted for 2 days and they gave an Escape to drive. I was the same way . Have to use a key to get in and start it? No remote start on the frosty mornings? And the big one half a tank on gas and only 150 miles to EMPTY? Just picked her up tonight and ohhhhh was that a nice smooooooth quiet ride home. Aaaaaa.........

Just picked up my baby. She got fabric and paint protector. They detailed her all nice and shiny. They contracted out to have window tint put on for me. Whoever drove it must have kept it floored. They put 50 miles on it and used a quarter tank of gas. My average MPG was 38.1 with a half left of my first tank. It has a quarter tank left now and average MPG of 36.2 when I pick her up. I managed to gain a couple points on the way home to 36.4. Now hopefully I won't have to drop her off anywhere for quite a long while. I think I will reset my lifetime average when I fill up so that I can gage my driving rather than me and whoever was driving.

Not doing fuelly yet. Too many other things to set up right now.(sync services, questionaire's from ford and the dealership, all the things in the car ect...) I will once everyone stops sending me stuff to fill out. Weather is still cold. First day of Spring. Last year it was 83 degrees 30 degrees above normal. This year 35 degrees, 20 degrees below normal with no end in sight.

My dealer just told me to bring mine back in 120 days or 5,000 miles which ever comes first for my first oil change.(on the house)

I also found that rubber piece in my center compartment. It is a divider for the cup holder if anyone hasn't figured it out. I hadn't seen a post with the answer about it. My first tank of gas won't be a good one. My sister drove it Friday(she drove like she stole it) and now someone will be driving it from the dealership to put on window tint.The second tank will tell the tail if I know how to drive it. I had the average to 37.8 with 300 miles on the odometer.I bet it will be way below that when I get her back. They gave me a Escape to drive in the meantime. Mileage stinks but at least they didn't shoehorn me into a tiny car. The weather around here is still below freezing. Is it ever going to warm up?

Just took Maxie in for fabric and paint protectant. Also window tint. The dealer contracts out for it. Someone will be pick up my baby today and take it to a shop to install the tint.
