Probably based on the fact a buyer pays negotiated price for the car and a person that leases end cost is based on the residual value of the car at lease end, seem to remember that mine was either 55 or 60 percent last year when I leased the car, it had one of the highest residual values for the cars I looked at. still both amounts have been pointed out as being kind of low by the trade papers

the 3.6 is a end user installed update so it does not show up on ETIS, 3.5.1 is a dealer installed update so it will show up on ETIS. 3.5.1 is required to installed 3.6

So have I, been dealing with the same ford dealer and sales person since 1972, they have always been professional and totally competent with every one of the 12 cars I have leased through them, prefer American iron. Sounds like it is not the car but the dealer. Had growing pains with the car, but suspect it was because mine was the 717th one to roll off the assembly line in Michigan, dealer stuck by it and I think we finally have all the first year model release growing pains worked out.

the same thing happened on the garmin unit, but at least I was able to document it and send it to garmin, they verified and corrected it on their subsequent map releases.

Would love to find this out also - especially to send them error corrections, have about 5 streets in my neighborhood that have been one ways for decades, and even the navigation system directs you to turn down them the wrong way. With as narrow as these streets are it is just a accident or an encounter waiting to happen

dealer here is going by vin number and date sold as to who gets in for the recall after their stock was updated It went in Tuesday and the recall / fuel economy upgrade was done by mid-afternoon. unfortunately they are running into issues with the A/C weed whacker sound effects, still don;t have the car back. Update - dealer called, no car today either. A/C parts ordered hopefully they will be in tomorrow. Weather is even not cooperating, been raining so I can't put the top down:(

color me concerned, took the car in yesterday @ 6:30 AM for a few things it was supposed to be back mid morning today, dealer called and said it maybe ready tomorrow. As I mentioned it was in for the PCM upgrade, the recall, the weed whacker A/C and a rattling noise

vocie control was one of the few things that I do not have problems with on the car

Being lazy:) Car is in for the recall, the fuel upgrade, the weed whacker A/C and poor cooling, loose panels in the doors that are rattling and a few other annoyances - dealer is going to install the update for me. Meanwhile back in the Mustang they loaned me the last time my car was in for a couple of weeks:)

funny, A4 is supposed to be the latest, but every time I set a destination in my driveway it always sends me to the entrance ramp the same way - and the street is has me turning on is one way in the opposite direction. It has been that way for 35 years. The old garmen did that also, but had a contact method to send in the correction, not seen one for the C-Max's Also - A4 is the latest but you need 3.5.1 on the sync to be able to read it.

checked the sync site, update is listed. Since mine will be in the shop starting tomorrow for 2 /3 days, will put it on the service ticket and let them do it while they are doing all the rest of the work

SSM32308 - for the A/C noise, feel like the car has a staring roll in that Allstate motorcycle commercial - a weed whacker 4. an annoying rattle on the right drivers side door and instrument panel, think the dash was not replaced properly going to check etis to see if there is any indication of it before I leave for the dealer. they already said they will have it for 2-3 days

prefer it as it is, one thing I would love is a HUD like I had in my Grand Prix showing everything on the wind screen

why are you accusing them of fraud? "My SA (who was back) assumed it was completed" where does the op state is was on the final paperwork I must be missing it

Been leasing since 1980, I don;t get attached to cars and I dump them every 3 years anyway.. It better for me economically since taxes, license, and the such are included. If you can stay within the mileage limitation it is something to look into. Excess mileage charges are determined by the agreement, have had from 10 cents to 40 cents a mile. Monthly payments are definitely less then financed payments
