  1. There isn't a MFT Pandora app on the screen. You use your smartphone to access the app, and then you connect to MFT to play it through your vehicle's speakers. USB depends on the phone. I've tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Note II (Android), and it doesn't work. Instead, I stream via Bluetooth. I believe, but I can't recall for certain, that iPhones work with the USB connections. I never tried streaming Pandora; I'm a Spotify person. However, at least one person told me that you can see the album art for Pandora, when you stream via Bluetooth. I can't even get that far with Spotify. Spotify will stream with no problem, but MFT won't display the album art. It would be really great if we could have decent functionality (like your wish for thumbs up and down on Pandora, and my wish for album art on Spotify) between MFT and other devices and apps. I am happy with what I have, but I certainly look forward to getting these improvements.
  2. The C-MAX is so cheap to drive that I am willing to blow the money to get The Works (an oil change and tire rotation) at the midpoint for regularly scheduled maintenance (5,000, 15,000, 25,000. . .), I've decided. Either it will give me good tire life with even wear, or I'll waste a little money that I didn't need to spend.
  3. I would like to add another feature to my wish list. The dream would be to have a "Reply" function for text messages, where I can Listen, and then flip the steering wheel paddle, and command a Reply that I dictate. Short of that, I would prefer that we be able to at least customize the stock reply messages in MFT, rather than having to only select from the stock messages.
  4. First: Excellent first post, and welcome! I am guessing that your C-MAX was not used, and therefore has next to no miles. So, you will definitely be up in the 60's after break-in. Nice! I've never used the tachometer. So, I can't directly comment. Is there not a correlation between RPMs and bars? If so, what does 2,000 RPMs come out to be, somewhere between 1.75 and 2 bars? I have found that there are different ICE burns that I use for different purposes. For example, I tend use lower bars for longer burns when going up a very long incline, or if I am at a low SOC. I go with 2 bar burns when going up a shorter significant incline (we have lots of bridges around here), or where SOC is higher. If SOC is very low (after I have just done a really long glide), I can go with a few pulse and glides at about 1.75 bars. If I am doing well at keeping up the SOC, I will go at least 1.75, often 2. If I am traveling a memorized route, I can do burns that don't quite fit with the above, because my goal is to keep moving. For example, I am willing to waste a squirt of gas in order to hit the traffic light in sequence, more than making up for the gas consumed by not having to stop and start. In general, my main rule is to have ICE operating the least amount of time possible. I find that more important than plus or minus .25 bars. Looking forward to reading more of your posts!
  5. When will Bluetooth streamed Spotify start showing artist, album and other information? That would be a really great enhancement.
  6. I just use Eco Cruise Control without blipping. Too much work for long highway runs.
  7. You have to make sure to adjust the volume only when the voice is speaking. If you do it any other time, you affect other volume settings. I use the steering wheel paddle while the voice is speaking. Whatever I set, the setting stays. So, you are either accidentally adjusting the volume when you think that you are not, or you need to get to the dealer for a check out.
  8. That's averaging for travel in both directions, which--other than in the mountains--is a slight incline going north, and a slight decline going south.
  9. It's hard to wait, but I am so glad that I did. I am happy with getting exactly the things that I wanted. You'll make it! :waiting:
  10. I hope that they get NAV to the point where we can say: Destination, Address Book, Joe Smith at Work. Right now, I end out looking up the address on my phone, and then I use that to state the Street Address for NAV.
  11. You can't use Auto. You turn to the temp, set the fan speed manually, and you turn on recirculate.
  12. There is no straight vent function. By turning off the air conditioner and setting to LO, this prevents either heat or air conditioned air from coming through; it's the closest thing to vent. The only decision is how fast to set the fan speed.
  13. I'll do my best to keep our Fuelly numbers from dropping off too much, over the winter.
  14. Welcome aboard! Which options and packages did you get?
  15. They called me within the week that my free period was to expire. I said that there was almost certainly no way that I was renewing. They cut me off the minute that my free period was over, not a second longer. I didn't even have it working during the little free weekend that just past in the start of December. I guess that they sensed that there was not hope for me, and wrote me off.
  16. No seat heaters, no electric seat. There's more to it than just the material.
  17. I can only tell you that I always remove my antenna when going through the car wash, and I have listed to both Sirius and FM without any issue, and that was while inside the building, running through the wash. So, I am willing to bet that, with such a device, there would not be any substantial loss in ability to receive stations.
  18. Yes. Notice the emphasis on the sporty tail pipes.
  19. Such a tough break. I thought that it was certainly fixed once they replaced the GPS module and all that. Is it possible that this is happening in a spot with poor coverage?
  20. Welcome aboard! It sounds like you will be a great resource for us.
  21. I'm not sure what the sensors actually sense, in that regard. Good question!
  22. Sounds like everything is headed in the right direction for you. I hope that the last of the physical issues resolve quickly. Progress!
