  1. Oh Riddley, thank you very very much. I've been trying to figure this out all weekend. I finally posted picture. Yah!!! Thanks for the info on the "Test" forum. I'll try that too.
  2. Here's a picture of the car I spotted in the above post. If this is someone on the forum's car let me know.
  3. Riddley, could you point to where I can get instructions on how to show my pictures in my posts?
  4. It's very similar. I see that the door handles are near each other so they must open up the opposite direction of each other.
  5. My husband is car shopping and said that if he gets a C-Max he'll pick the Sterling Gray.
  6. That's only my second fill up so I'm hoping I calculated it right. I'll know in a few days when i take another trip. Wow I love fresh vegetables. They are great for your kids and you too! I hope it's very prosperous.
  7. I bought mine at the end of February and I think it was built in January. It's an SEL too. It came with 3.1.3. I must have just missed the update but I understand that it takes time to prepare and distribute the update.
  8. Wow that's interesting. I'm supposed to have the latest update but I don't have that. That will be a great addition!
  9. Wow you really are ambitious. Good for you! Does trimming a Crepe Myrtle count for anything? We did that yesterday. Today we were out cruising in Max while car shopping. I would love if my husband got a C-Max Energi. He really likes my car but most likely will wind up with an all gas engine. Then we washed his T-Bird. We had great weather. I'm really looking forward to getting better gas mileage!

    My New SEL

Congratulations Red Twin! Isn't it crazy how the C-Max make car purchasing quick and easy?
  11. I saw this one at a McDonald's and I couldn't help but park next to it. Unfortunately I was in a rush and didn't have the chance to ask the owner how she liked her C-Max so far. Wow that looks like my car! I also spotted one parked by the Roanoke River where I live. I was so excited because it was the first one I've seen parked. It was red and from Ohio of all places. I talked to the owner for a minute. He said he likes his car and the gas mileage. What's really weird is that while we were walking along the river with our dog I told my husband I was going to guess who the owner was and I was right. I didn't ask hime if he heard about the forums but I'm going to see if I can find him. I'll post a picture when I figure out the easiest way to post them.
  12. Wow you guys are having a great time! I'm scared to ride around with a gas tank in the back of the car. Is it safe?
  13. I just found this in the manual: "Trip Summary and Lifetime Summary: These will be displayed upon shutting off the vehicle. Trip Summary will appear first, then Lifetime Summary will be displayed. You can toggle between these displays using the up and down arrow keys on the left hand steering wheel controls." I hope this helps.
  14. That is a great way to read the manual. I also have the manual for my husband's 2004 T-Bird in PDF format on my computers. Someone on television suggested that there was no need to keep the paper manual in the car but I have a hard time giving up old habits. :finger:
  15. I just noticed the EV+ for the first time today when I got near my house. How interesting!
  16. When I read the My View section in the manual I decided to set mine after I figured out other things about the car. I've had my car over a month and am fairly comfortabe with it so I've started using My View. I set mine up with power+threshold on the left and coolant temperature on the right. I like to monitor battery activity so that's why I want power+threshold and I'm curious to see the thermometer change colors when the engine warms. I'll probably change it after my curiosity is satisfied. I'm curious to see the reasons why other people chose theirs.
  17. Another locking problem I have is when I lock the doors my husband wants to pull up on the handle to see if the doors are locked. Of course when he does that the doors unlock. Habits can be a real pain to break ;)
  18. Welcome and congratulations! I love the color you picked.
  19. I do the same thing most of the time but then I say ya, :happy feet: I don't have to do that any more!
  20. I've had mine for a month now and I'm still having fun driving it. When I first got it my husband would stand outside the garage and make me backup so he could listen to the quiet :hi5: We're both hooked. He doesn't bug me to drive it though. I don't know what to do if he did. The only problem is he's getting used to being driven all over the place. I'm spoiling him. Oh well I'm having fun. I find that my driving habits are similar to when I first got my license. I have to admit I drive much safer with Max. The only thing I noticed Prius drivers doing out of the normal is speeding around corners. That may be a misperception because I'm being so conservative.

    Howdy!

Thanks for posting the pic Doug. It looks like a perfect fit.

Congratulations on your new car! I love the exterior color. That was my second choice only because I just traded in a Red Rock Canyon car. I have the same interior and love it too but I also like your floor mats. I'm thinking about getting them because mine will be hard to keep clean. So do the Walmart windshield covers cover your windows thoroughly? Are they the jumbo size? I saw them last week. I'm not in much of a hurry since it's still cool here.
  23. Yea I was surprised too! It could be a little less because we traveled either 35 or 50 miles after taking down the mileage. I went with 50 miles because that stuck in my mind but we'll go with the averages after a few more fill ups. :drop:
