Saw one in Myrtle Beach, SC
C-Maxgo replied to C-Maxgo's topic in Sightings - C-MAX Hybrid's Spotted!
Somethings up. I saw another silver C-Max in Myrtle Beach this month in Market Common. I think the owner may work or live there. It's probably the one I've seen each time I'm in here. The Ford dealership also has a new white one in stock. -
I have the Nav and Sony Audio with SYNC w/MFT. The sound is great! I also have an iPod that i hooked up today to see if I could see the art work. The manual says that when Gracenote is used cover art is used. I saw the option to choose the Gracenote or artwork from the iPod but when I switched between the two all I saw both times was the bluetooth icon. I'll try it again tomorrow since I have turned the car off since changing the settings.

I'm 5'3" and I find the width just right. I find that the right arm rest is further back than my seat and harder for me to rest my arm but I realize that it's hard for manufacturers to make cars for all sizes of people. My Jeep was built the same way. I'm just glad that this car has knee air bags because I sit pretty close to the dash.

I just saw my second EV location. We have a place at the beach we got to monthly where I just saw the EV+. That's so cool!

What cool hidden feature have you discovered about your C-Max?

I like many of the thing mentioned above plus I like how the rear seats allow me to secure a blanket for my dog. I just tuck the blanket into the seats where the back and the seat meet then I tuck and hold the bottom of the blanket under the seats while I clip clothes pins up underneath to hold the blanket in place. -
Who has 3.1.3 Nav and IT WORKS PROPERLY?

Here's an update on my GPS. Yesterday we took a 300 mile trip that I monitored and here is what I saw. I usually don't have problems with my navigation until yesterday. I connected my iPod touch via Bluetooth in an attempt to see google map in navigation. I wasn't successful so I turned Bluetooth off on the Itouch. We also had our route programmed in navigation. Then we stopped for lunch and after getting back into the car MTF said to connect a phone. Before we got out of the car I had my phone on and Bluetooth enabled. That's when I realized that MTF has trouble when two Bluetooth devices are connected. I don't know if this affected navigation but it also went crazy and displayed that we were off route but we weren't. After restarting my phone the phone connected and navigation was back to normal. Later in the trip I noticed that the arrow on the navigation was to the right of the highway we were on and the display read "off route". I haven't been on enough trips to say that this is a problem because the old highway runs parallel to the one we were on. Maybe the map is still programed with the old highway. Are these problems similar to problems that others have been having? -

Oops maybe I shouldn't have said anything. :censored: But at least you didn't see it before I said anything..... -
Congratulations Manticore! My intuition was talking very loud and clear when I was shopping for my Max too. I've had mine for almost 2 months and I love it. I have no regrets! In fact I didn't even have regrets giving up my Jeep to get the Max.

I'm still waiting for inspiration to tell me something original. I wanted to the user name that I use on this forum Bsmax but my husband said people may misread it. It's actually short for Brenda's Max. Okay I'm curious. Does anyone else read my username as Bull sh.....Max? If so I may have to change it. -
I thought everyone was away from the forums but now they're back.

Lol, ur funny!

Maybe the moral of the story would be to keep the fobs separate at all times.

Great ideas! I mistakenly reset trip 1 thinking I was on trip 2 today. Now I don't know how many miles I have on my car since the last fill up. I'm going to follow your leads. Thanks

I noticed 20 minutes after an outing in Max today that my garage wasn't hot like it used to be with my Jeep. I went on a 15 minute in town trip with EV and motor use. We had upper 80 degree temperatures so I was surprised. :woohoo: This is great for me because i find it uncomfortable in the summer when I go into the garage and also the garage is below our living area so the house should stay cooler. I told my husband to take Max in the summer. He said he doesn't want to see a grown woman cry :wub2:

Okay it seems like everyone has a good excuse :hysterical: Congratulations colea! Enjoy your new baby.

I'm not having any gps problems. I have 3.1.3 with a build date of January 18th. I haven't taken my car in for any service bulletins. -
Is it because of the warmer weather and everyone's out seeing how much gas mileage they can get? Or maybe it's just my imagination. I haven't been driving more but I have been outside doing spring clean up. My car is still sparkling clean after washing it Saturday and I even helped my husband wash his car on Sunday. Okay I'll quietly go away and let you guys get on with it.

I think your right JohnnOhio. When it was in the 40's and 50's my engine started up as soon as I pulled out of my garage. Now that it's 80 it starts about 50 feet down my road. Yesterday I got a short trip of 77 mpg. That was with a full battery and mostly down hill. I love those high numbers. I remember them and not the low ones. It all averages out though.
