Only the Energi models have a 3g connection that allows them to be remotely started IIRC.

frbill replied to Recumpence's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Absolutely amazing Matt, you really have the aero modding bug! I look forward to seeing your completed mods ( if ever such a thing can be stated) -
Praise be! So glad you and Maxine have been reunited!

Nice Video! How in the world did you get the clearance to shoot at KSC? Very Cool!

Um, could you do it with the apple logo, sorry I forgot to specify that. I really appreciate your skills!

Hey Carpe, First off thanks again for the image, it works great in my car! I wonder if I could ask another favor, I have seat warmer buttons in the place were driver passenger text is. Could you recreate that same logo minus the text. I would really appreciate it if you could do this, then my sync would be perfect, and I wouldn't need clippee's help!

Seems to be working for me, I used to have that problem with IE, but since I moved over to Firefox everything seems to work, Good Luck!

Going on a long trip on the expressway with a full load!

So like most things Matt, you take things to the limit (hypermiling, aeromodding, etc.) So glad there are folks willing to take things to the cutting edge! -
GPS NAV system -- who is mfr? (brand name)
frbill replied to Mi-C's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I suspect that this is an inhouse build for ford. They have been at it for a few years now. As far as the Maps it is my understanding that they are provided by Navteq. If we ever want to upgrade our maps it will be through them. Not sure on either of these but it is my understanding FWIW. -
I too am thankful for many blessings in my life. Where I serve as a Catholic Priest, my family and friends, and the nation in which we live. Thanks also to Adair, as soon as I saw the post I knew who made it, without looking at the poster. Peace, Father Bill

There is the one on the left side of drivers foot well with a covering door. The other is under the steering column. -
Not meaning to hijack the thread but which Clipper Creek did you get? If I still had my c-max I would definitely would be interested in them.

It almost seems like FMC has been getting feedback from the consumers and they didn't have a unified answer. This seems to be a reasonable explanation of Range. I know that If i drive at night my miles will be lower because I am using headlight. Still I get nearly 24 miles EV on my way home.

Can Navigation be added after purchase?
frbill replied to tehuti's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
Ford will not update to navigation after the factory. You can get a third party solution at the following site http://gm-navigation.com/ford-navigations/mytouch-gps-navigation-system.html It is really pricey but if you want integrated nav this is the only solution that I am aware of. Peace, Father Bill -
Ouch, this has been a tough couple of weeks for the C-Max crowd. I too hope that the repairs are speedy.
