I am sitting at my dealer waiting as the update is being done. More as I get it... I am really looking forward to some of the improvements... iPhone text compatibility, power flow screen, supposed "improved stability".

I just got off the phone with my service rep. I will be going in next Monday for the reprogram. I will be the first for this dealership... (gulp :doh:). He gave me the program info though he stated it would be 13A01 Program. I hope that info can help others in talking with their service reps. More when I can.

Here is my second 600+ tank E0 87 octane gas was in the tank.

As requested :salute: 1. SEL no moonroof 2. 50 psi cold 3. E0 Regular (last two tanks) otherwise E10 Regular. 4. Completely stock.

I just had to share this trip. It is mostly down hill (680 ft to 575) but with a 11mph headwind. I am getting better at P&G so I am very pleased with this outcome.

Check the prevailing winds before you go out on a drive. Last night I had about an hour drive to a meeting. I was looking at the wind to figure out what it would do for my mileage. I don't like being surprised by results so this helps me to temper my expectations. Now if only I could figure out a way to always drive with the wind at my back... ;)

E10 was 20 cents cheaper not sure if the math works for the cost but the mileage did.

I made it Yahoo! I took picture after fill-up, I hope it still counts. I put in 12.28 gal to fill it up so I probably will get an even better tank next time . I put in E-0 last fill and this one as I seem to get better MPG with it but won't be in a area with E-0 stations for next few weeks, be interesting to see what E-10 tanks will average out at.

I too have not seem the lamps come on when in Auto Wipe, Auto Lamps, Auto Lamps Rain On. I found a thread on this board which stated that the Auto Lamps only work when in Constant or High modes. It seems to defeat the purpose of the Auto Lamps on feature in settings. And definitely does not meet the manual description.

Well I started out my last tank when the temp was 78F. I was getting stellar mileage The above was from a round trip just after filling up but it was not to last :sad: The last couple of days winter decided to return Argh. Temps dropped to mid 40's and so did my MPG. Last I looked it was down to 45.8 MPG for the tank. I really am looking forward to getting some warm weather and sunny days! I am not sure how I will cope with winter mileage next year... First gotta get into the Summer. Thanks for listening to my whining! Now if Ford would just come out with 3.5.1, whoops that's a rant for another thread ;) !

Well I chickened out at 587.2 miles. Put in 12.51 gallons when filled up. This last tank started out poorly so I am hopeful for the next one. I just hope the weather holds up, supposed to get rain for the weekend. :sad: I will get there soon! :drool:

I am able to charge my ipad using the USB ports. It has to be in sleep mode and it will trickle charge. I have taken it from 88-100% on an hour long drive. I can charge my iPhone without any difficulty. Want to use the 110 port but have not yet had the need.

I just did the 11 method for my second job site. I have been driving there for the last 3 weeks and it didn't come up on the EV+ mode. I decided to try the 11 method after school today. I had to run back for an evening meeting and sure enough it went into EV+. This is really impressive as the site is up a couple of substantial hills. EV+ got me up them at 30mph no problem. That was really cool. I am pretty good at getting the car into and maintaining EV but this feature gives an envelope of performance that with manual EV I cannot touch(e.g. going up hills). Now to figure out other places where EV+ makes sense.

I have seen that coasting does recharge the battery. For me when I come into town I top off the battery by coasting from 55 - 40 - 30. This corresponds to my speedtrap town's changing speed zones. If I have managed the SOC correctly I almost always top up the battery to almost full, which allows me to EV all the way home :). I am not sure I would see a better return in SOC if I hit the Regen Mode as I would have to go into EV mode sooner due to a corresponding reduction of speed. Just my two cents, YMMV.
